The Development of Coaching for Schools under the Lower Northeastern Municipality

Abstract

This study has objectives as follows 1) to study the current condition, desirable condition, and requirement of coaching for schools under the lower northeastern municipality and 2) to develop guidelines of coaching for schools under the lower northeastern municipality. Samples are 369 consisting of 41 executives and 328 teachers who are selected using Cluster Random Sampling. Tools used in the study are 1) component suitability evaluation for coaching indicator for schools, 2) questionnaires about the current condition and desirable condition of coaching in schools, 3) interview from of best practice schools in coaching, and 4) suitability and possibility evaluation of coaching for schools under the lower northeastern municipality. Statistics used for analysis are percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

Results from the study show that:

1. The current condition of coaching of schools under the lower northeastern municipality is low while the desirable condition is high.

2. The guidelines for the development of coaching of schools under the lower northeastern municipality consist of 1. Rational criterion, 2. Objectives, 3. Guidelines of coaching for schools consisting of four components as follows: 3.1) coaching preparation, 3.2) coaching target and plan, 3.3) coaching components, and 3.4) coaching evaluation and track, 4. Management mechanism, and 5. Condition for success. The overall guidelines of coaching of schools under the lower northeastern municipality are very high as well as the possibility.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็นการดำเนินการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ สำหรับสถานศึกษา สังกัดเทศบาล ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง 2) เพื่อพัฒนาแนวทางการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ (Coaching) สำหรับสถานศึกษา สังกัดเทศบาล ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง กลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 369 คน ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา จำนวน 41 คน และครูผู้สอน จำนวน 328 คน ใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ 1) แบบประเมินความเหมาะสมขององค์ประกอบและตัวชี้วัดการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ (Coaching) สำหรับสถานศึกษา 2) แบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับสภาพปัจจุบันและสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการจัดการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ (Coaching) สำหรับสถานศึกษา 3) แบบสัมภาษณ์สถานศึกษาที่มีวิธีการปฏิบัติที่ดีเยี่ยม (Best practice) ด้านการนิเทศการศึกษา 4) แบบประเมินความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของแนวทางการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ (Coaching) สำหรับสถานศึกษา สังกัดเทศบาล ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. สภาพปัจจุบันการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ (Coaching) สำหรับสถานศึกษา สังกัดเทศบาล ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับน้อย และสภาพที่พึงประสงค์การนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ (Coaching) สำหรับสถานศึกษา สังกัดเทศบาล ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก

2. การพัฒนาแนวทางการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ (Coaching) สำหรับสถานศึกษา สังกัดเทศบาล ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ประกอบด้วย 1. หลักการและเหตุผล 2. ความมุ่งหมาย 3. แนวทางการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ (Coaching) สำหรับสถานศึกษา มี 4 องค์ประกอบ ดังนี้ 3.1) องค์ประกอบด้านการเตรียมการก่อนการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ 3.2) องค์ประกอบด้านการกำหนดเป้าหมายและแผนการดำเนินงานการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ 3.3) องค์ประกอบด้านการดำเนินการการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ 3.4) องค์ประกอบด้านการประเมินและติดตามผลการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ 4. กลไกในการบริหารจัดการ 5. เงื่อนไขความสำเร็จ แนวทางการนิเทศแบบสอนแนะ (Coaching) สำหรับสถานศึกษา สังกัดเทศบาล ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง โดยรวมมีความเหมาะสมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุดและความเป็นไปได้ อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
