The "Liao Songs" of Zhuang Pepole in Ping Guo,Guang Xi,China

Abstract

This research was done with qualitative and ethnomusicological studies.The aims were 1) To Investigate the history of Liao Songs 2) To Analyze the identity of Liao Songs and 3) To explore the trend of development in the future of“Liao Song” in Ping Guo ,Guang Xi , China. The data were collected based on the fieldwork from Artists, Scholar and Professors.

The results as follows: 1) Liao Songs is a singing form of local folk songs of Guang Xi Zhuang people. This paper to Investigate the Liao Songs historical development process: Before 1400 years, Liao Songs originated from several legends: SamBao bodhisattvas, rituals, the creation of fairies, and the creation of the government . Between 1400 - 1950 years, Ancient Zhuang manuscripts, the appearance of “Zei Ge” songs are the signs of maturity, and the emergence of the Liao Songs team,These represent the maturity of Liao Songs. Between 1950-2000,During this period, Liao Songs entered a period of highly development through the family transimission and the “Folk Song Fair”emergence. Then, Liao Songs social influence gradually weakened, and it entered a period of decline and need to be transimission. 2) Analyze the identity of Liao Songs, contained Content , Divide into long songs and short songs according to content. Libretto , Five words and four sentences constitute the rhyme form .Tune , Liao Songs have 7 tune.Singing Process, It is divided daytime singing and night singing. 3) The trend of development in the future of “Liao Song”:Current situation, The influence of Liao Songs in the cultural life of the people is weakened. Problems encountered in the development , The transmission and development of Liao Songs have serious situation. Specific measure, Develop a multi-channel measures promote the of Liao Songs.
