Development Reading and Writing Ability of Grade 4 Students by Learning Management Based on Picture Word Inductive Model

Abstract

Reading and writing were communication ability in daily life that students had to use it but they could not learn about reading and writing ability. The thesis had objective. 1) to improve reading ability of grade 4 students according to 70% criteria and 2) to improve writing ability of grade 4 students according to 70% criteria. The target group was 3 out of 8 students in grade4 of Bannongkun school, keadam district, Mahasarakham province that was Mahasarakham primary education service area office 1) There were three tools for thesis which was Thai language learning plan based on reading and writing patterns from pictures (word inductive, model, PWIM) of story about the sentence could be written and reading according to the spelling section for 4 units which were 4 hours each, for a total of 16 hours and the total mean was 4.77. And then, 2) The reading test was divided in 2 parts that first part had 20 items and 4 choices test and second part had assessment score of reading correctly, reading clarity and reading in a specified period of time for 10 items. And the last, 3) the writing test had assessment score that was title of story. essence of story, using language, spelling, orderliness and correctness in accordance with the explanation for 1 items. The reading and writing test were content validity with IOC value between 0.60-1.00. A data was analyzed by using percent, mean and standard deviation.

The results were found that:

1. students could read the spelling section that was Mae Kok, Mae Kod, Mae Kub and Mae Kon for 71 percent which meted the criteria of 70 percent.

2. students could write the spelling section that was Mae Kok, Mae Kud, Mae Kub and Mae Kon for 70.5 percent which meted the criteria of 70 percent.

ทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนเป็นทักษะการสื่อสารในชีวิตประจำวันที่ผู้เรียนจะต้องนำไปใช้ แต่สภาพการจัดการเรียนรู้ในเรื่องดังกล่าวยังไม่ประสบผลสำเร็จเท่าที่ควร ดังนั้น การวิจัยครั้งนี้ จึงมีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการอ่านของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ตามเกณฑ์ร้อยละ70 2) เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการเขียนของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ตามเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 กลุ่มเป้าหมายได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 จำนวน 3 คน จากทั้งหมด 8 คน ของโรงเรียนบ้านหนองขุ่น อำเภอแกดำ จังหวัดมหาสารคาม สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษา มหาสารคาม เขต 1 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย มี 3 ชนิด ได้แก่ 1) แผนการการจัดการเรียนรู้ภาษาไทยตามรูปแบบการอ่านและการเขียนจากภาพ (Word Inductive Model, PWIM) เรื่อง แต่งได้เขียนได้ผ่านการอ่านมาตราตัวสะกด จำนวน 4 หน่วย หน่วยละ 4 ชั่วโมง รวมเป็น 16 ชั่วโมง โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยผลรวม เท่ากับ 4.77 2) แบบทดสอบการอ่านโดยแบ่งเป็น 2 ตอน ตอนที่ 1 เป็นแบบทดสอบชนิดเลือกตอบ 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 20 ข้อ ตอนที่ 2 แบบทดสอบที่มีเกณฑ์การประเมินคือ การอ่านถูกต้องตามอักขรวิธี ความชัดเจนในการอ่าน และการอ่านในเวลาที่กำหนด จำนวน 10 ข้อ 3) แบบทดสอบการเขียนแบบทดสอบมีเกณฑ์คะแนนในการประเมินคือ การตั้งชื่อเรื่อง สาระสำคัญของเรื่อง การใช้ภาษา การเขียนสะกดคำ และความเป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อย และถูกต้องตามคำชี้แจง จำนวน 1 ข้อ ซึ่งแบบทดสอบการอ่านและการเขียนมีความเที่ยงตรงเชิงเนื้อหาที่ใช้ได้โดยมีค่า IOC อยู่ระหว่าง 0.60-1.00 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า

1. นักเรียนมีความสามารถด้านการอ่าน เรื่อง มาตราสะกด แม่ กก กด กบ และมาตราตัวสะกดแม่ กน ร้อยละ 71 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ ร้อยละ 70

2. นักเรียนมีความสามารถด้านการเขียน เรื่อง มาตราสะกด แม่ กก กด กบ และมาตราตัวสะกดแม่ กน ร้อยละ 70.5 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ ร้อยละ 70
