The STAD Cooperative Learning Technique Emphasizing on Representation for Enhance Learning Achievement and Mathematical Problem Solving Ability in Relations and Functions of Mathayomsuksa 4 Students

Abstract

The purposes of this study were (1) to develop lesson plan using the STAD cooperative learning technique emphasizing on representation in relations and functions of Mathayomsuksa 4 students based on 75/75 criteria, (2) to find out the effectiveness index of the STAD cooperative learning technique emphasizing on representation ability in relations and functions of Mathayomsuksa 4 students, (3) to compare the mathematical learning achievement on relations and functions of Mathayomsuksa 4 students learned by using the STAD cooperative learning technique emphasizing on representation with 75 percent criteria and, (4) to compare the ability to solve mathematical problems on relations and functions of Mathayomsuksa 4 students learned by using the STAD cooperative learning technique emphasizing on representation with 70 percent criteria. The study samples were 39 students in mathayomsuksa 4 at second semester of academic year 2018 of Pathumthep Witthayakarn School, Nong Khai province. The sample selected randomly through cluster random sampling. The study instruments were lesson plan based on the STAD cooperative learning technique emphasizing on representation, the mathematical learning achievement test and mathematics problem solving ability test.

The results of study appeared that

1) The efficiency of lesson plan using the STAD cooperative learning technique emphasizing on representation in relations and functions of Mathayomsuksa 4 students was 82.08/78.21 which were higher than the established criteria of 75/75.

2) The effectiveness index of the STAD cooperative learning technique emphasizing on representation in relations and functions of Mathayomsuksa 4 students equals to 0.6750 accounted for 67.50 percent.

3) The mathematics achievement in relations and functions of Mathayomsuksa 4 students learned by using the STAD cooperative learning technique emphasizing on representation at least 75 percent at .05 statistical significance levels.

4) The ability to solve mathematical problems in relations and functions of Mathayomsuksa 4 students learned by using the STAD cooperative learning technique emphasizing on representation at least 70 percent at .05 statistical significance levels.

การศึกษาค้นคว้านี้มีความมุ่งหมาย 1) เพื่อพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD โดยเน้นการใช้ตัวแทน เรื่องความสัมพันธ์และฟังก์ชัน ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เพื่อศึกษาดัชนีประสิทธิผลของการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD โดยเน้นการใช้ตัวแทน เรื่องความสัมพันธ์และฟังก์ชัน ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่องความสัมพันธ์และฟังก์ชัน ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนโดยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD โดยเน้นการใช้ตัวแทน กับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 4) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหา ทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องความสัมพันธ์และฟังก์ชัน ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนโดยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD โดยเน้นการใช้ตัวแทนกับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2561 โรงเรียนปทุมเทพวิทยาคาร จังหวัดหนองคาย จำนวน 39 คน ซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster random sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้า ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD โดยเน้นการใช้ตัวแทน แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ และแบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์

ผลการศึกษาค้นคว้าปรากฏดังนี้

1. แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD โดยเน้นการใช้ตัวแทน เรื่่องความสัมพันธ์และฟังก์ชัน ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 82.08/78.21 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 75/75 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด

2. ดัชนีประสิทธิผลของการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD โดยเน้นการใช้ตัวแทน เรื่องความสัมพันธ์และฟังก์ชัน ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.6750 หรือคิดเป็นร้อยละ 67.50

3. ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่องความสัมพันธ์และฟังก์ชัน ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนโดยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD โดยเน้นการใช้ตัวแทน ไม่น้อยกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 ทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

4. ความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องความสัมพันธ์และฟังก์ชันของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนโดยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเทคนิค STAD โดยเน้นการใช้ตัวแทน ไม่น้อยกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
