The Development of Learning Achievement and the Analytical Thinking Ability using Project-based Learning of Thailand Financial and Economic Institute for Matthayomsuksa 1 Students

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1. to develop a project-based learning management plan for developing academic achievement and analytical thinking about financial institutions and the Thai economy in Mathayomsuksa 1 with efficiency according to 80/80 criteria, 2. to compare the academic achievement of students studying with a project-based learning management plan in regard to financial institutions and the Thai economy in Mathayomsuksa 1 both pre-test and post-test, 3. to compare the analytical thinking abilities of students studying with a project-based learning management plan on financial institutions and the Thai economy in Mathayomsuksa 1 both pre-test and post-test, 4. to study the satisfaction of Mathayomsuksa 1 students towards project-based learning management on financial institutions and the Thai economy. The sample consisted of 16 students in Mathayomsuksa 1, Semester 2, Academic Year 2020, Muen Si Wittayanusorn Sports School, which were obtained by cluster sampling. Research instruments were: 1. Project-based learning management plans for social studies, religion and culture courses, financial institutions and Thailand economy, amounting to 5 plans, 10 hours. 2. An achievement tests. 3. Analytical Thinking Ability Test. 4. Satisfaction Questionnaires. The statistics used in the research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test dependent sample.

The major findings indicated as follows:

1. The efficiency (E1/E2) of the project-based learning management plan in Mathayomsuksa 1 equaled 80.05/81.25 which met the 80/80 criteria.

2. The results comparison of pre- and post-test results of Mathayomsuksa 1 students studying the project-based learning management respectively. When comparing pre-test and post-test scores, it was found that post-test test scores were significantly higher than pre-test at the .01 level.

3. The results of the analytical thinking test of pre- and post-test students of Mathayomsuksa 1 students who received project-based learning management. When comparing between pre-test and post-test scores, it was found that post-test test scores were significantly higher than pre-test at the .01 level.

4. The results of the study on the satisfaction of Mathayomsuksa 1 students towards learning about financial institutions and the Thai economy from project-based learning management were at a high level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1. เพื่อพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเป็นฐาน สำหรับพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนและความสามารถในการคิดวิเคราะห์ เรื่อง สถาบันการเงินและเศรษฐกิจประเทศไทย ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 2. เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียน ที่เรียนด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเป็นฐาน เรื่อง สถาบันการเงินและเศรษฐกิจประเทศไทย ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน 3. เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดวิเคราะห์ของนักเรียน ที่เรียนด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเป็นฐาน เรื่อง สถาบันการเงินและเศรษฐกิจประเทศไทย ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน 4. เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเป็นฐาน เรื่อง สถาบันการเงินและเศรษฐกิจประเทศไทย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2563 จำนวน 16 คน โรงเรียนกีฬาหมื่นศรีวิทยานุสรณ์ ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1. แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเป็นฐาน รายวิชาสังคมศึกษา ศาสนาและวัฒนธรรม เรื่อง สถาบันการเงินและเศรษฐกิจประเทศไทย จำนวน 5 แผน 10 ชั่วโมง 2. แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน 3. แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการคิดวิเคราะห์ 4. แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าทดสอบ t-test dependent Sample

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ประสิทธิภาพของแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเป็นฐาน ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 มีประสิทธิภาพ (E1/E2) เท่ากับ 80.05/81.25 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ 80/80

2. ผลการเปรียบเทียบคะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเป็นฐาน เรื่อง สถาบันการเงินและเศรษฐกิจประเทศไทย หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

3. ความสามารถในการคิดวิเคราะห์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเป็นฐาน เรื่อง สถาบันการเงินและเศรษฐกิจประเทศไทย หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

4. ความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเป็นฐาน เรื่อง สถาบันการเงินและเศรษฐกิจประเทศไทย มีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมาก
