The Development of Speaking Abilities and Confidence of using Korean Language of Mathayomsuksa 5 Students by using Communicative Language Teaching

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop students' ability to speak Korean of Mathayomsuksa 5 Students by using Communicative Language Teaching level with a required efficiency of 75. 2) To develop confidence in using the Korean language of Mathayomsuksa 5 students by using Communicative Language Teaching level with a required efficiency of 75.The target group used in this research were group of 20 students in Mathayomsuksa 5/13 at Phadungnaree school, Mueang district, Mahasarakham Province. The research was carried out using a three-cycle action research model. The instruments used in the study were : 1) plans for organization of learning activities using of the two mentioned approaches, 4 hours per each plan, for a total of 16 hours.2) Korean speaking ability test practical measurement by using rubric score 3) 20-item Korean Language Confidence Assessment with 5-Level Estimation Scale. The statistics used for analyzing data were mean, standard deviation and percentage.

The results of the study were as follows:

1. All students passed the Korean language proficiency test scores with an average score of 18.10, representing 90.50 percent, which is higher than the 75 percent threshold set.

2. All students had a score of confidence in using the Korean language. with an average score of 82.40 or 82.40 percent. The overall confidence in using the Korean language in all 5 aspects of the students was at a high level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาเกาหลีของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่เรียนด้วยการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร ให้ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 2) เพื่อพัฒนาความมั่นใจในการใช้ภาษาเกาหลีของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่เรียนด้วยการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร ให้ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5/13 โรงเรียนผดุงนารี อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดมหาสารคาม จำนวน 20 คน ที่เรียนรายวิชาภาษาเกาหลีเพื่อการสื่อสาร ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2564 ดำเนินการวิจัยโดยใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ 3 วงรอบ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการพูดและความมั่นใจในการใช้ภาษาเกาหลีของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โดยใช้การสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร จำนวน 4 แผน แผนละ 4 ชั่วโมง รวมทั้งหมด 16 ชั่วโมง 2) แบบทดสอบความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาเกาหลี วัดภาคปฏิบัติ แบบ Rubric Score 3) แบบประเมินความมั่นใจในการใช้ภาษาเกาหลี แบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ จำนวน 20 ข้อ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. นักเรียนมีคะแนนการทดสอบความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาเกาหลีผ่านเกณฑ์ทุกคน โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 18.10 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 90.50 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 ที่ตั้งไว้

2. นักเรียนมีคะแนนความมั่นใจในการใช้ภาษาเกาหลีผ่านเกณฑ์ทุกคน โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 82.40 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 82.40 ภาพรวมความมั่นใจในการใช้ภาษาเกาหลีทั้ง 5 ด้านของนักเรียนอยู่ในระดับมาก (X= 4.12)
