The effect of health literacy promotion program to prevent liver fluke disease, Lao Mee Sub-district, Don Tan District, Mukdahan Province

Abstract

This quasi-experimental research To study the effect of health literacy promotion program to prevent liver fluke disease, Lao Mee sub-district, Don Tan district, Mukdahan province. The samples were selected by simple random sampling from the working age population aged 15-59 years, divided into experimental and comparison groups, 50 people each.provided that the experimental group received activities to promote health literacy It consists of a fecal examination for helminth eggs before the experiment. Training Organizing group activities for exchanging knowledge follow-up visit Total duration of 12 weeks Then proceed to collect the data. before and after the experiment using questionnaires Quantitative data were analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation. and test the hypothesis using statistics Paired t-test and Independent t-test.

The results showed that After the experiment, the group had average scores on cognitive health. Access to information and health services health communication self-management media and information literacy and discriminatory decisions increased more than before the experiment and significantly more than the comparison group (p-value<0.05) and the liver fluke morbidity rate dropped below 5 per cent. as a result of the health knowledge of the experimental group. which influences lifestyle, especially eating behavior In this regard, understanding and discriminatory decision-making will lead to continuous and sustainable change in health behaviors.

การวิจัยแบบกึ่งทดลองครั้งนี้ เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพเพื่อป้องกันโรคโรคพยาธิใบไม้ตับ ตำบลเหล่าหมี อำเภอดอนตาล จังหวัดมุกดาหาร กลุ่มตัวอย่างคัดเลือกด้วยวิธีการสุ่มอย่างง่ายจากประชากรกลุ่มวัยแรงงาน อายุ 15-59 ปี โดยแบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ กลุ่มละ 50 คน ทั้งนี้จัดให้กลุ่มทดลองได้รับกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพ ประกอบด้วยการตรวจอุจจาระเพื่อหาไข่พยาธิก่อนการทดลอง การอบรมให้ความรู้ การจัดกิจกรรมกลุ่มแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ การเยี่ยมติดตามให้คำแนะนำ รวมระยะเวลาทั้งสิ้น 12 สัปดาห์ จากนั้นดำเนินการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ก่อนและหลังการทดลองโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณด้วยการแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และทดสอบสมมติฐานโดยใช้สถิติ Paired t-test และ Independent t-test
