Development of Word Problem Solving Ability of Prathomseuksa 5 Students using CIPPA MODE with Metacognition Strategy

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed 1) to develop academic achievement of Prathomseuksa 5 Students using CIPPA MODEL with Metacognition Strategy to overcome 70 percent criteria of full score 2) Developing the ability to solve math problems of Prathomseuksa 5 Students using CIPPA MODEL with Metacognition Strategy to overcome 70 percent criteria of full score and 3) To study the satisfaction of the student’s. The participants of this study were Prathomseuksa 5 Students, semester 1, academic year 2020, Ban Dong Keng School (Nam Wattana Upatham), Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, Udon Thani, 1 classroom, obtained by means of purposive sampling. There were 3 action research cycles. Research instruments were composed of 1) Lesson plans CIPPA MODEL with Metacognition Strategy. 2) Academic Achievement Measurement Item. 3) A Mathematical Problem Solving Ability Test Form.

The results of the study were as follows:

1. Aacademic achievement of Prathomseuksa 5 Students using CIPPA MODEL with Metacognition Strategy The mean score was 15.36, representing 76.82% and the standard deviation was 0.69, which was higher than the 70% threshold.

2. The ability to solve math problems of Prathomseuksa 5 Students using CIPPA MODEL with Metacognition Strategy. Findings of action research cycle 1 revealed that the mean was 14.09 from a full score of 20, representing 70.45%, the standard deviation was 0.70. Cycle 2 revealed that the mean was 14.18 from a full score of 20, representing 70.90%, the standard deviation was 0.75. Cycle 2 revealed that the mean was 15.36 from a full score of 20, representing 76.81%, the standard deviation was 0.81.

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายของการวิจัย 1) เพื่อพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 เรื่อง การแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ โดยเทียบกับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 2) เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ให้ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 โดยใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้วิจัยในครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2563 โรงเรียนบ้านดงเค็ง (นำวัฒนาอุปถัมภ์) สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาอุดรธานี เขต 1 อุดรธานี จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน ได้มาด้วยวิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) เครื่องมือในในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้มี 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ 1) แผนจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ CIPPA MODEL ร่วมกับกลวิธีเมตาคอกนิชัน 2) แบบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน 3) แบบวัดความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่าดังนี้

1. ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ CIPPA MODEL ร่วมกับกลวิธีเมตาคอกนิชัน เรื่อง การแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 15.36 ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 0.69 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 76.82 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70

2. ผลการพัฒนาความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนสูงกว่าร้อยละ 70 โดยแบ่งเป็นสองวงรอบ ดังนี้ วงรอบที่ 1 ความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ โดยใช้แผนจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ CIPPA MODEL จากแบบวัดความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์แบบอัตนัยเขียนตอบและและสามารถแสดงวิธีทำได้อย่างถูกต้อง มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 14.09 จากคะแนนเต็ม 20 คะแนน ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 0.70 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70.45 แล้วนำผลจากวงรอบที่ 1 เพื่อพัฒนาแผนจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้การเรียนรู้แบบ CIPPA MODEL ร่วมกับกลวิธีเมตาคอกนิชัน โดยวงรอบที่ 2 ความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 14.18 จากคะแนนเต็ม 20 คะแนน ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 0.75 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70.90 วงรอบที่ 3 มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 15.36 จากคะแนนเต็ม 20 คะแนน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 76.81 ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 0.81
