The Development of Problem Solving Skill for Mattayomsuksa 1 Students using Instruction Based on Geographical Literacy

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop problem solving skills of Mathayomsuksa 1 students using instruction based on geographical literacy, pass the 70% criteria. The target group which used in the research were 35 Mathayomsuksa 1 students at Nonghan Wittaya School, Academic Year 2020, obtained by purposive selection. The research instrument which used in this research were divided into 2 types: 1) the experimental tool was the plan of learning activities in the social studies course of 4 units, taking 38 hours, and 2) the tools used for data collection were as follows: a creative problem-solving skills scale; and a problem solving behavior observation model. The data were analyzed by using mean, percentage and standard deviation.

The result revealed:

Mathayomsuksa 1 students had an average score of 37.94 in problem solving skills, representing 85.71% of the total 70 percent of students who passed the threshold.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการแก้ปัญหาของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โดยการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการรู้เรื่องภูมิศาสตร์ ให้ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนหนองหานวิทยา ปีการศึกษา 2563 จำนวน 35 คน ได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย แบ่งเป็น 2 ประเภท คือ 1) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการทดลอง คือ แผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ จำนวน 4 หน่วยการเรียนรู้ ใช้เวลา 38 ชั่วโมง และ 2) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบวัดทักษะการแก้ปัญหา และแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการแก้ปัญหา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 มีคะแนนทักษะการแก้ปัญหาเฉลี่ย 37.94 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 85.71 ของนักเรียนทั้งหมดที่ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70
