The Development of Problem-Based Learning to Promote Citizenship for Mathayomsuksa 2 Students

Abstract

The purposes of the current studies were 1) to develop a problem-based learning management plans using to promote efficient citizenship for Mathayomsuksa 2 students in accordance with 75/75 benchmark 2) to compare the pre- and post-learning achievement of Mathayomsuksa 2 students using problem-based learning management in “Duties of Citizens, Culture, and Living” subject; and 3) to study citizenship behavior of Mathayomsuksa 2 students. The target group included 18 Mathayomsuksa 2 at Ban Nong Nam Khun School, Buri Ram Province, Semester 2, 2022. The instruments included 1) 6 problem-based learning management plans on “Citizens’ Democratic Way of Life” for 12 hours, with suitable quality (x̅ = 88.76) ; 2) the 30-question achievement test on “Citizens’ Democratic Way of Life,” with item difficulty = 0.25-0.79, power of discrimination (r) = 0.22-0.88, and reliability = 0.93 and 3) the citizenship behavior test. The statistics for data analysis included percentage, mean, and SD.

The results of the study were as follows :

1. The efficiency of the developed problem-based learning management plans using to promote efficient citizenship for Mathayomsuksa 2 students was 76.02/80.53, in accordance with the benchmark.

2. The post-learning achievement of Mathayomsuksa 2 students using the problem-based learning management plans was higher than the pre-learning.

3. Mathayomsuksa 2 students using the problem-based learning management plans had high citizenship behavior.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายคือ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐาน เพื่อส่งเสริมความเป็นพลเมืองของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐานรายวิชาหน้าที่พลเมือง วัฒนธรรมและการดำเนินชีวิตระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน 3) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมความเป็นพลเมืองของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 กลุ่มเป้าหมาย ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนบ้านหนองน้ำขุ่น จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา2564 จำนวน 18 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐาน เรื่อง พลเมืองตามวิถีประชาธิปไตยจำนวน 6 แผน 12 ชั่วโมง โดยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้มีคุณภาพเหมาะสม (x̅ = 88.76) 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนเรื่องพลเมืองตามวิถีชีวิตประชาธิปไตยจำนวน 30 ข้อ มีความยากรายข้อตั้งแต่ 0.25-0.79 มีค่าอำนาจจำแนก ตั้งแต่ 0.22-0.88 และมีความเชื่อมั่นทั้งฉบับเท่ากับ 0.93 3) แบบวัดพฤติกรรมความเป็นพลเมือง สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏ ดังนี้

1. ผลการพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐาน เพื่อส่งเสริมความเป็นพลเมืองของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 พบว่ามีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 76.02/80.53 เป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด

2. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่เรียนด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐานของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน

3. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่เรียนด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐานมีพฤติกรรมความเป็นพลเมืองอยู่ในระดับมาก
