Learning management using Think Talk Write Learning Activities techniques to improve Mathematical problem solving ability for Mathayomsuksa 2 students

Abstract

The purpose of this research were 1) to develop lesson plans using Think Talk Write on Statistics for grade 8 (Mathayomsuksa 2) students with the efficiency 75/75 criteria. 2) To compare the ability to solve mathematical problems of grade 8 students using Think Talk Write on Statistics between before class and after class. 3) To study satisfaction of students towards Think Talk Write learning activity for grade 8 students. The samples were 44 students from Mathayomsuksa 2/3 at Kalasinpittayasan School in the academic year 2021, selected by cluster random sampling technique. The research instruments were as follows: 1) 5 lesson plans totaling 10 hours. 2) The subjective test to measure the ability to solve mathematical problems for 5 items. 3) The achievement test in the form of four-option multiple choice questions for 30 items. 4) The satisfaction of students questionnaire towards Think Talk Write learning activity for 10 items. The statistics used in the research were percentage, the average, standard deviation, formular of the efficiency of learning activity, and T-test dependent sample.

The results shown as follows:

1) The efficiency of lesson plans using Think Talk Write on Statistics for grade 8 students was 77.18/76.14, which meets the determined criteria.

2) The ability to solve mathematical problems of grade 8 students, using Think Talk Write technique on Statistics, in after class was higher than before class with the significantly different at the statistical level of .05.

3) The satisfaction of students towards Think Talk Write learning activity was at high level; the average is 4.01 and S.D. is 0.08.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายคือ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาแผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เทคนิค Think Talk Write เรื่อง สถิติ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่เรียนโดยใช้เทคนิค Think Talk Write เรื่อง สถิติ ระหว่างก่อนและหลังเรียน 3) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคนิค Think Talk Write เรื่อง สถิติ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2/3 จำนวน 44 คน โรงเรียนกาฬสินธุ์พิทยาสรรพ์ ปีการศึกษา 2564 ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ จำนวน 5 แผน รวม 10 ชั่วโมง 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ แบบอัตนัย 5 ข้อ 3) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน แบบปรนัย 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 30 ข้อ 4) แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เทคนิค Think Talk Write จำนวน 10 ข้อ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สูตรหาประสิทธิภาพของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ และสถิติทดสอบที (t-test dependent sample)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1) แผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เทคนิค Think Talk Write เรื่อง สถิติ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 77.18/76.14 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ 75/75

2) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่เรียนโดยใช้เทคนิค Think Talk Write มีความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง สถิติ หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

3) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่เรียนโดยใช้เทคนิค Think Talk Write มีความพึงพอใจต่อการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้อยู่ในระดับมาก มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.01 และ S.D. เท่ากับ 0.08
