The Influence Factors for the Underemployment in Thailand

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find the influence factors for the underemployment in Thailand by multinomial logistic regression. The secondary data were supported by the National Statistical Office (NSO) under the Labor Force Survey 2016 project. Three domains of underemployment viz. hour, poverty wage and education were classified, respectively.

The result found that eleven factors as age, hours, salary, region, area, sex, marital, work status, education, industry, occupation were influenced to the underemployment in Thailand with 96.60% of correction. Moreover, a sensitivity by ROC curves were also showed very high accuracy.

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการทำงานต่ำระดับของประเทศไทย โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์การถดถอยโลจิสติคแบบหลายกลุ่ม จากข้อมูลโครงการสำรวจภาวะการทำงานของประชากร พ.ศ. 2559 ซึ่งดำเนินการสำรวจโดยสำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ โดยทำการศึกษาการทำงานต่ำระดับ 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ การทำงานต่ำระดับด้านการศึกษา การทำงานต่ำระดับด้านรายได้ และการทำงานต่ำระดับด้านเวลา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการทำงานต่ำระดับของประเทศไทยมี 11 ตัว คือ อายุ จำนวนชั่วโมงการทำงาน รายได้ ภาค ประเภทของพื้นที่อาศัย เพศ สถานภาพสมรส สถานภาพการทำงาน ระดับการศึกษา ลักษณะที่สำคัญทางเศรษฐกิจ และอาชีพ โดยมีความถูกต้องของการพยากรณ์ร้อยละ 96.60 ส่วนการวิเคราะห์ความไวด้วยเส้นโค้ง ROC Curve พบว่ามีความถูกต้องสูง
