Abstract

The Research Fon Buang Suang: Choreography From the Faith in the Context of Popular Culture. The objectives of this study were 1) to study the beliefs and backgrounds of Fon Buang Suang, the worshipping dances in Isan society; 2) to study the phenomenon of the worshipping dances in the context of popular culture; 3) to analyze the dance inventions in the Krom Luang Prachaksinlapakhom sacrificial dance of Udon Thani and management of sacred ritual sites by studying relevant research documents and collecting field data by using the research tools. That was the observation form and the interview form done by a group of 7 knowledgeable people, a group of 4 expert people and 40 people of general people using a qualitative research methodology. Then present the data by descriptive and analytical methods.

From the study, it was found that the Fon Buang Suang dance is a phenomenon in expressing beliefs and faith from the ancient traditions of Isan society that have been passed down to the present. There are differences according to the context of the area, time, and era. It has its beginnings in the local community and has spread to urban society. Fon Buang Suang by Krom Luang Prachaksinlapakhom is a phenomenon, the worshipping dances are different from other areas in that they can gather many groups of people with different races, occupations and social statuses to express their faith, with "dramatic works" as the driving force. The worshipping dances became a weaving machine, linking the beliefs and unity of the people to the sacred space. Finally, it became the beginning of a dramatic work that was practised until it became an annual tradition and began to expand its scope, number, and area. Soon there was a popular trend of worshipping dances in almost all provinces in the Northeast. Therefore, the Fon Buang Suang does not only perform the function of the dramatic works that are a representation of faith but it is also a representation of a good "culture" that shows the strength of the community and the unity as well.

การวิจัยเรื่อง ฟ้อนบวงสรวง : นาฏยประดิษฐ์จากความศรัทธาในบริบทวัฒนธรรมสมัยนิยม มีความมุ่งหมาย 1) เพื่อศึกษาคติความเชื่อความเป็นมาของฟ้อนบวงสรวงในสังคมอีสาน 2) เพื่อศึกษาปรากฎการณ์การฟ้อนบวงสรวงในบริบทวัฒนธรรมสมัยนิยม 3) วิเคราะห์นาฏยประดิษฐ์ในการฟ้อนบวงสรวงกรมหลวงประจักษ์ศิลปาคม จังหวัดอุดรธานี และการจัดการพื้นที่พิธีกรรมศักดิ์สิทธิ์โดยศึกษาเอกสารงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องและเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลภาคสนาม โดยใช้เครื่องมือในการวิจัย คือ แบบสังเกต และแบบสัมภาษณ์ จากกลุ่มผู้รู้ จำนวน 7 คน กลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 4 คน และบุคคลทั่วไป จำนวน 40 คน โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ แล้วนำเสนอข้อมูลด้วยวิธีพรรณนาวิเคราะห์

จากการศึกษาพบว่า ฟ้อนบวงสรวง เป็นปรากฎการณ์ในการแสดงออกถึงความเชื่อ ความศรัทธา จากคติโบราณดั้งเดิมของสังคมอีสานที่ถูกส่งต่อมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน มีความแตกต่างกันตามบริบทพื้นที่ ห้วงเวลาและยุคสมัย มีจุดเริ่มต้นจากท้องถิ่นชุมชนและแพร่กระจายมาในสังคมเมือง ฟ้อนบวงสรวงกรมหลวงประจักษ์ศิลปาคม เป็นปรากฎการณ์ที่แตกต่างจากฟ้อนบวงสรวงในพื้นที่อื่น ๆ ตรงที่สามารถรวบรวมประชาชนหลายกลุ่มที่มีความแตกต่างกันทั้งเชื้อชาติ อาชีพ และสถานะทางสังคมให้มาแสดงออกถึงความศรัทธา โดยมี “นาฏกรรม” เป็นพลังในการขับเคลื่อน ฟ้อนบวงสรวงจึงกลายเป็นเครื่องถักสาน ผูกโยงความเชื่อ ความสามัคคี ของประชาชนกับพื้นที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ จนกลายเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของนาฏกรรมที่ปฏิบัติจนเป็นประเพณีประจำทุกปี และเริ่มขยายขอบเขต จำนวน และพื้นที่กว้างขึ้น จนเกิดกระแสนิยมของการฟ้อนบวงสรวงเกือบทุกจังหวัดในภาคอีสาน ฟ้อนบวงสรวงจึงมิได้ทำหน้าที่ของนาฏกรรมที่เป็นภาพแทนของความเชื่อเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นภาพแทนของ “วัฒนธรรม” ที่ดีงามที่แสดงออกให้เห็นความเข้มแข็งของชุมชน ความสามัคคีปรองดองอีกด้วย
