The Development of Internal Supervision Model for Teacher Competency Development in Secondary Level Mathematics Learning Management for Charitable Schools of Buddhist Temples

Abstract

The development of internal supervision model for teacher competency development in secondary level mathematics learning management for charitable schools of Buddhist temples intended 1) to study desirable and current conditions of internal supervision to develop teacher competencies in mathematics learning management of secondary level for charity schools of Buddhist temples; 2) to create and examine the internal supervision model for developing teacher competencies; and 3) to try out and assess the internal supervision model to develop teacher competencies in mathematics learning management of secondary level for charity schools of Buddhist temples.

The findings revealed as follows:

1. The results of current and desirable conditions of the internal supervision for developing teacher competencies mathematics learning management of secondary level for charity schools of Buddhist temples found that the desirable condition of internal supervision for teacher competencies in mathematics learning management of secondary level for charity schools of Buddhist temples was at a high level. When considering each aspect, regarding supervision, it was found that the current condition of supervision for developing learning management competency with the highest mean referred to teaching observation, supervision planning, and data analysis. According to the desirable condition of internal supervision for developing teacher competencies in mathematics learning management of secondary level for charity schools of Buddhist temples, it was found that the practice, in overall, was at the highest level. When considering each aspect of supervision, it revealed that the desirable condition with the highest mean referred to teaching observation, pre-meeting, and supervision planning.

2. The results of creating and examining the internal supervision model for developing teacher competencies in mathematics learning management of secondary level for charity schools of Buddhist temples revealed that the qualified model consisted of 1) Principles of the model, which is supervision that is consistent with the school context by self-supervision as important. It emphasizes participation of all personnel using democratic principles with collaborative atmosphere, accepting each other's opinions, promoting, supporting, and assisting teachers to succeed in teaching and learning management on mathematics. 2) Purpose of the model is to develop knowledge and understanding of the internal supervision model of administrators and supervising teachers to enable the administrators and teachers to use the model in supervision for enhancing the teacher competencies in mathematics learning management and to develop the teacher competencies in effective learning management. 3. The supervision process (PIDE2R Model) consists of Step 1: Planning (P); Step 2: Informing (I); Step 3: Doing (D) with 4 stages which are Pre-Observation Conference, Classroom Observation, Analyzing and Data Collecting, and Post-Observation Conference; Step 4: Evaluating (E); Step 5: Reflecting & Reinforcement (2R); 4. Evaluation and 5. Conditions for Success.

3. The results of using and evaluating the internal supervision model found that 1) the results of cognitive test of teachers of mathematics learning management gained higher knowledge than before. 2) The results of the teacher's ability on lesson plan design after the supervision gained higher than before and gained higher ability to provide learning activity than before. The results of suitability, feasibility and usefulness of the supervision model, in overall, were at the highest level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน และสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา 2) สร้างและตรวจสอบรูปแบบการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา 3) ทดลองใช้และประเมินรูปแบบการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนาเป็นการวิจัยและพัฒนา (Research and Development) โดยดำเนินการเป็น 3 ระยะ ดังนี้ ระยะที่ 1 ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน และสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 7 คน ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาและครูผู้สอนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ 132 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ได้แก่ แบบประเมิน และแบบสอบถาม ระยะที่ 2 สร้างและตรวจสอบรูปแบบการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์สำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิสัมภาษณ์วิธีปฏิบัติที่ดี (Best Practice) 9 คน กลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญวิพากษ์และตรวจสอบร่างรูปแบบ 5 คน และกลุ่มผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิยืนยันรูปแบบ 9 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ได้แก่ แบบประเมิน ระยะที่ 3 การทดลองใช้และประเมินรูปแบบการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์สำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารและรองผู้บริหารโรงเรียน ครูวิชาการ หัวหน้ากลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ และครูผู้สอนคณิตศาสตร์ 3 คน และนักเรียน 120 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ได้แก่ แบบทดสอบ แบบประเมิน และแบบสอบถามสถิติในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ผลการศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบันและสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา พบว่า สภาพปัจจุบันของการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา อยู่ในระดับมาก และสภาพพึงประสงค์ของการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา โดยรวมมีการปฏิบัติอยู่ในระดับมาก

2. ผลการสร้างและตรวจสอบรูปแบบการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา พบว่า รูปแบบการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนาที่ผ่านการตรวจสอบคุณภาพรูปแบบการนิเทศจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ มี 5 องค์ประกอบ คือ องค์ประกอบที่ 1 หลักการของรูปแบบ องค์ประกอบที่ 2 วัตถุประสงค์ของรูปแบบ องค์ประกอบที่ 3 กระบวนการนิเทศภายใน (PIDE2R model) ประกอบด้วย ขั้นที่ 1 การวางแผน (Planning : P) ขั้นที่ 2 การให้ความรู้ก่อนการนิเทศ (Informing : I) ขั้นที่ 3 การปฏิบัติการนิเทศ (Doing : D) มี 4 ขั้นตอน คือ 1) การประชุมก่อนการสังเกตการสอน (Pre-Observation conference) 2) การสังเกตการสอน (Classroom Observation) 3) การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากการสังเกตการสอน (Analyzing and Data collecting) 4) ประชุมหลังการสังเกตการสอน (Post-Observation conference) ขั้นที่ 4 การประเมินผลการนิเทศ (Evaluating : E) ขั้นที่ 5 การสะท้อนผลและการเสริมแรง (Reflecting & Reinforcing : 2R) องค์ประกอบที่ 4 การประเมินรูปแบบและองค์ประกอบที่ 5 เงื่อนไขความสำเร็จในการนำรูปแบบไปใช้

3. ผลการทดลองใช้และประเมินรูปแบบการนิเทศภายในเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ระดับมัธยมศึกษาสำหรับโรงเรียนการกุศลของวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา พบว่า 1) ผลการทดสอบความรู้ ความเข้าใจของครูผู้รับการนิเทศในการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ ครูผู้รับการนิเทศมีความรู้สูงกว่าก่อนได้รับการนิเทศ 2) ผลการประเมินความสามารถในการออกแบบแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ของครูผู้รับการนิเทศ หลังได้รับการนิเทศมีความสามารถในการจัดการเรียนรู้ สูงกว่าก่อนได้รับการนิเทศ และครูผู้รับการนิเทศ มีความสามารถในการจัดการเรียนรู้มากกว่าก่อนรับการนิเทศ และผลการประเมินความเหมาะสม ความเป็นไปได้ และความเป็นประโยชน์ของรูปแบบการนิเทศ โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
