Developing Productive Thinking Ability of Mathayomsuksa 4 Students by using STEAM Education

Abstract

The objectives of this study aim 1) to develop productive thinking ability of Mathayomsuksa 4 students 2) to develop achievement of Mathayomsuksa 4 students by using STEAM Education. The target group in this study consisted of 36 Matayomsuksa 4 students attending in Borabu School. Research intruments were lesson plan, productive thinking ability test and achievement test. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of research found that :

1) Teaching phase1 , The students had an average score of 6.17 in Productive Thinking Ability out of a full score of 12, and a total average of 51.16%. Students have average point for each component as follows: 1.) planning 2.17 point 2.) fluent of work 2.09 point 3.) quality of work 1.91 point. Teaching phase 2, The students had an average score of 7.82 in Productive Thinking Ability out of a full score of 12, and a total average of 65.16%. Students have average point for each component as follows: 1.) planning 2.78 point 2.) fluent of work 2.65 point 3.) quality of work 2.39 point.

2) Teaching phase1 , found that mean of the learning achievement of students were 8 students can pass 70 percentage of test and 28 students cannot pass criterion. Teaching phase 2, 19 students can pass 70 percentage of test and 17 students cannot pass criterion.

งานวิจัยนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาความสามารถในการคิดเชิงผลิตภาพของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 2) พัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ตามแนวทางสตีมศึกษา การวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้จัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวทางสตีมศึกษา กลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนบรบือ จำนวน 36 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ แผนจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวทางสตีมศึกษา แบบวัดความสามารถในการคิดเชิงผลิตภาพ แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล โดยใช้ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้

1) นักเรียนได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวทางสตีมศึกษา ในการสอนระยะที่ 1 นักเรียนมีคะแนนการคิดเชิงผลิตภาพเฉลี่ย 6.17 คะแนน จากคะแนนเต็ม 12 คะแนน และมีค่าเฉลี่ยทั้งหมดร้อยละ 51.16 นักเรียนมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยแต่ละองค์ประกอบดังนี้ (1) การวางแผน 2.17 คะแนน (2) การทำงานคล่องแคล่ว 2.09 (3) คุณภาพของผลงาน 1.91 คะแนน ในการสอนระยะที่ 2 นักเรียนมีคะแนนการคิดเชิงผลิตภาพเฉลี่ย 7.82 คะแนน จากคะแนนเต็ม 12 คะแนน และมีค่าเฉลี่ยทั้งหมดร้อยละ 65.16 นักเรียนมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยแต่ละองค์ประกอบดังนี้ (1) การวางแผน 2.78 คะแนน (2) การทำงานคล่องแคล่ว 2.65 (3) คุณภาพของผลงาน 2.39 คะแนน

2) นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวทางสตีมศึกษา ในการสอนระยะที่ 1 นักเรียนมีคะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 จำนวน 8 คน และไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์ 28 คน การสอนระยะที่ 2 การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวทางสตีมศึกษาที่ได้พัฒนาปรับปรุงแก้ไขจากการสอนระยะที่ 1 นักเรียนมีคะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 จำนวน 19 คน และไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 จำนวน 17 คน
