Development of Learning Activity Based on Davies’ Concept to Promote Basic Programming Abilities of Vocational Certificate Students under the Vocational Education in Mahasarakham

Abstract

This research aims to 1) develop a learning management plan based on Davies’ concept that’s effective on 75/75 2) to compare the basic programming abilities of vocational certificate students learning with web-based computer lessons using Davies’ practical skills 3) to study the satisfaction of vocational certificate students toward computer lessons on the web using Davies’ practical skills developed by the researcher, research tools are: 1) basic programming learning management plan 2) web-based computer lessons using Davies’ practical skills with Google Site, computer programming fundamental, two units of learning 3) a test for basic computer programming abilities of vocational certificate students consists of one set of forty questions 4) satisfaction assessment for vocational certificate students toward web-based computer learning with Davies’ practical skills, the sample group used in the research were vocational certificate students year 1/1, Department of Computer Technology, Mahasarakham Technical College, 1 room, 17 students using Cluster Random Sampling Technique.

The research found that 1) a conceptual learning management plan was obtained based on Davies’ concept with an efficiency of 87.39/84.41 which was higher than the established criteria 2) the comparative results of computer programming abilities of vocational certificate students after studying with Davies’ concept of learning management plan have statistically significant higher test scores or achievements than before at .05 3) students who studied with Davies’ conceptual learning management plan found that students were satisfied with Davies’ conceptual learning management plan created by the researcher at the highest level (mean = 4.82, S.D. = 0.39).

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมาย 1) เพื่อพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดของเดวีส์ ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถพื้นฐานในการเขียนโปรแกรมของนักเรียนระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ ที่เรียนด้วยบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์บนเว็บ ตามแนวคิดของเดวีส์ 3) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ ที่มีต่อการเรียนด้วยบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์บนเว็บ ตามแนวคิดของเดวีส์ ที่ผู้วิจัยพัฒนาขึ้น เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้รายวิชาพื้นฐานการเขียนโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ 2) บทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์บนเว็บ ตามแนวคิดของเดวีส์ รายวิชาพื้นฐานการเขียนโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ จำนวน 2 หน่วยการเรียนรู้ 3) แบบทดสอบความสามารถพื้นฐานในการเขียนโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ของนักเรียนระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ จำนวน 1 ชุด 40 ข้อ 4) แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์บนเว็บ ด้วยทักษะปฏิบัติของเดวีส์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นปีที่ 1/1 ภาควิชาเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ วิทยาลัยเทคนิคมหาสารคาม จำนวน 1 ห้อง จำนวน 17 คน โดยใช้เทคนิคการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ได้แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดของเดวีส์ ที่มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 87.39/84.41 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ 2) ผลการเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการเขียนโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ของนักเรียนระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นปีที่ 1/1 หลังจากเรียนด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดของเดวีส์ ได้คะแนนทดสอบหรือผลสัมฤทธิ์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3) นักเรียนที่เรียนด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดของเดวีส์ พบว่า นักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อการเรียนด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดของเดวีส์ ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 4.82, S.D. = 0.39)
