Abstract: | This qualitative research aims to study 1.)The development of the Chinese Novel "Bai lu Yuan" to the Chinese Performing Arts and 2.) To analyze the role of the TV Series "Bai Lu Yuan" in the development of Chinese ethical's perspectives. My research method is the information study of documentaries, In-depth interviews, Questionaire, and Observation. The Population and Sampling group were professors at a Chinese University, Actors, Audiences, Directors, and TV Series production team from China TV station. The result is this descriptive analysis.
The research found that The Novel, Bai Lu Yuan written by Chen Zhongshi during 1987-1993 and will be a popular novel among Chinese people. Later, this novel was created in various forms of Chinese performing arts from 1993 to 2017 with the development sequentially including Radio plays, Chinese opera, Dance Drama, Stage play, Movie, and TV series. As for the TV series, it began broadcasting in 2017 with a total of 77 episodes and affected the changes in the ethical concepts of Chinese audiences in three aspects 1).
