Development of Learning Management Based on Inductive Method to Enhance Mathematical Reasoning Ability on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5 Students

Abstract

This purposes of this research were 1) to develop the inductive lesson plan which encourage the mathematical reasoning ability on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5 students based on 70/70 criteria, 2) to study the effectiveness index of learning management based on inductive method on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5, 3) to compare mathematics learning achievement on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5 students after learning management based on inductive method with 70 percent criteria, 4) to compare the mathematical reasoning ability on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5 students after learning management based on inductive method with 70 percent criteria.

The subjects of this study were 37 students (1 classes) in the 2nd semester of academic year 2020 at Triam Udomsuksa Pattanakan Roiet school, Roiet, the secondary educational service area office Roi Et. The samples were randomly selected by using cluster random sampling. Students in each classroom were divided into proficient group, intermediate group and low-level group. The instruments used for collecting data were 1) 15 lesson plans of the mathematics learning management base on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5 2) the achievement test were 20 four alternative items of mathematics, it has difficulty (p) from 0.20 to 0.80 the discrimination (r) from 0.20 to 0.60 the reliability at 0.72 3) 5 items of the subjective exam writing of mathematic reasoning ability on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5, it has difficulty (p) from 0.45 to 0.72 the discrimination (r) from 0.40 to 0.63 the reliability at 0.76. statistics used in the research include: a percentage, a mean, a standard deviation and z – test for one sample.

The research findings were as follows;

1. The inductive lesson plan which encourage the mathematical reasoning ability on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5 students found that its efficiency were 84.21/74.32. It was in the setting criteria 70/70.

2. The effectiveness index of learning management based on inductive method on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5 found that there were 0.6008. it showed that students had learning progress were 60.08.

3. The mathematics learning achievement on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5 students after learning management based on inductive method was statistically higher 70 percent criterion at 0.5 level.

4. The mathematical reasoning ability on Exponent of Mathayomsuksa 5 students after learning management based on inductive method was statistically higher 70 percent criterion at 0.5 level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบอุปนัย เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 70/70 2) เพื่อศึกษาดัชนีประสิทธิผลของแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบอุปนัย เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบอุปนัย กับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 4) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการให้เหตุผลทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบอุปนัย กับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70

กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2563 โรงเรียนเตรียมอุดมศึกษาพัฒนาการ ร้อยเอ็ด อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาร้อยเอ็ด จำนวน 37 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster random sampling) โดยแต่ละห้องเรียนจัดการเรียนรู้แบบคละความสามารถ กลุ่มเก่ง กลุ่มปานกลาง และกลุ่มอ่อน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบอุปนัย เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 จำนวน 15 แผน 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ชนิดเลือกตอบ 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 20 ข้อ ซึ่งมีค่าความยาก (p) ตั้งแต่ 0.20 ถึง 0.80 ค่าอำนาจจำแนก (r) ตั้งแต่ 0.20 ถึง 0.60 ค่าความเชื่อมั่นทั้งฉบับ เท่ากับ 0.72 3) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการให้เหตุผลทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง อัตนัยแบบเขียนตอบ จำนวน 5 ข้อ ซึ่งมีค่าความยาก (p) ตั้งแต่ 0.45 ถึง 0.72 ค่าอำนาจจำแนก (r) ตั้งแต่ 0.40 ถึง 0.63 ค่าความเชื่อมั่นทั้งฉบับ เท่ากับ 0.76 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ทดสอบสมมติฐานโดยใช้ z - test for one sample

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้

1. แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบอุปนัย เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นมีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 84.21/74.32 เป็นไปตามที่กำหนดไว้คือ 70/70

2. ดัชนีประสิทธิผลของการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบอุปนัย เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 เท่ากับ 0.6008 ซึ่งมีความก้าวหน้าทางการเรียนร้อยละ 60.08

3. ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 หลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบอุปนัย สูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

4. ความสามารถในการให้เหตุผลทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง เลขยกกำลัง ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 หลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบอุปนัย สูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
