The Intelligent supplementary learning system for MSU IT-Exit-Exam of Undergraduate students

Abstract

The aim of this research is to propose a prototype of an intelligent supplementary learning system for assessing information technology knowledge of undergraduate students at Mahasarakham University. Expert system, which is one of the field in Artificial Intelligence, is applied in the prototype. By using the features of individual student, the prototype analyses level of knowledge of the learner and presents suitable lesson for the student in a form of rules using Production Rules Techniques. The prototype was tested by 278 students who are the second year undergraduate students at Mahasarakham University. The result from the questionnaires shows that the users satisfy with the system performance at the highest satisfaction level with x̄=4.66, S.D.=0.61 The second satisfaction of the system rated by the users is the accuracy of the system with x̄=4.62, S.D.=0.66.

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างแบบจำลองสอนเสริมอัจฉริยะสำหรับการสอบด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศของนิสิตปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ด้วยการประยุกต์ใช้กระบวนการทางด้านระบบผู้เชี่ยวชาญ (Expert System) ซึ่งเป็นสาขาหนึ่งของระบบปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (Artificial Intelligence: AI) โดยการนำคุณลักษณะของผู้เรียนรายบุคคล มาวิเคราะห์ระดับความรู้ของผู้เรียนจากการตอบแบบทดสอบ และนำเสนอบทเรียนให้เหมาะสมกับผู้เรียนรายบุคคล ให้อยู่ในรูปแบบของกฎ (Rule) ด้วยเทคนิคการแทนความรู้เชิงกฎ (Production Rules) และผลการประเมินพอใจการใช้งานระบบสอนเสริมอัจฉริยะสำหรับการสอบด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ่ของนิสิตปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการทดลอง คือ นิสิตชั้นปีที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2560 วิทยาลัยการเมืองการปกครอง มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม จำนวน 278 คน พบว่า ด้านประสิทธิภาพของระบบ ผู้ใช้งานมีความพึงพอใจมากที่สุด (x̄=4.66, S.D.=0.61) รองลงมา ด้านความถูกต้องของระบบ (x̄=4.62, S.D.=0.66)
