Inquiry Approach Learning Management with KWDL Problem Solving Package in the Topic of Interest and Value of Money for Mathayomsuksa 5 Students

Abstract

This aims of research were 1) to study the efficiency of the Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package in the topic of Interest and value of money for Mathayomsuksa 5 with a required efficiency of 75/75, 2) to study the effectiveness index of Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package in the topic of Interest and value of money, 3) compare mathematic problem solving performance between before and after learning of Mathayomsuksa 5 students learning based on Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package, 4) to study the students’ satisfaction on Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package. The research sample consisted of 44 Mathayomsuksa 5/9 students attending Sarakhampittayakhom school in the second semester of academic year 2022 that selected by cluster random sampling. The instruments used in the study were 8 lesson plans for Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package in the topic of Interest and value of money, KWDL problem solving package created by the researcher, the mathematics problem solving ability test on learning was 10 items, and 15 items rating scale questionnaires on learning satisfaction with Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package. The statistical method employed for data analysis was percentage, mean, standard deviation and wilcoxon signed rank test which were used in the testing hypothese.

The results of the research were as follows:

1. Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package in the topic of Interest and value of money for Mathayomsuksa 5 entitled statistics had efficiency of 80.95/75.74, which were higher than the requirement.

2. Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package in the topic of Interest and value of money for Mathayomsuksa 5 had the effectiveness index of 0.5983, which meant that students had 59.83 percent of learning progressiveness.

3. The students learning based on Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package in the topic of Interest and value of money showed gains in mathematics problem solving from before learning at the .05 level of significance.

4. The students learning based on Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package in the topic of Interest and value of money showed gain in satisfactory on learning at highest level (Average = 4.44, S.D. = 0.75)

In conclusion, Inquiry approach learning management with KWDL problem solving package in the topic of Interest and value of money for Mathayomsuksa 5 was appropriately efficient that could make the ability in mathematics problem solving ability even higher. The teacher should be supported to implement this in learning plan and teaching method in the future.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL เรื่อง ดอกเบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เพื่อศึกษาดัชนีประสิทธิผลของการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ ระหว่างก่อนและหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้การเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 4) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่มีต่อการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5/9 โรงเรียนสารคามพิทยาคม ที่เรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์พื้นฐานในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2565 จำนวน 1 ห้อง นักเรียน 44 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) โดยใช้ห้องเรียนเป็นหน่วยในการสุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ เรื่อง ดอกเบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน โดยใช้การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นจำนวน 8 แผน ชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ ชนิดเขียนตอบ จำนวน 10 ข้อ และแบบวัดความพึงพอใจ จำนวน 15 ข้อ สถิติที่ใช้ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบสมมติฐานโดยใช้ Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏ ดังนี้

1. การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหา เรื่อง ดอกเบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 มีประสิทธิภาพ ( E1/E2 ) เท่ากับ 80.95/75.74 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่ตั้งไว้ 75/75

2. ค่าดัชนีประสิทธิผลของการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหา เรื่อง ดอกบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 เท่ากับ 0.5983 แสดงว่าหลังการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ด้วยจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหา เรื่อง ดอกบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน นักเรียนมีความก้าวหน้าทางการเรียนรู้เพิ่มขึ้น 0.5983 หรือคิดเป็นร้อยละ 59.83

3. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่เรียนด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL เรื่อง ดอกบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน มีความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

4. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่เรียนด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL เรื่อง ดอกบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน มีความพึงพอใจโดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.44 ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน 0.75

โดยสรุป การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกแก้โจทย์ปัญหาแบบ KWDL เรื่อง ดอกเบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 มีประสิทธิภาพเหมาะสม ทำให้ความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนสูงขึ้น จึงควรสนับสนุนให้ครูนำวิธีการนี้ไปใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนต่อไป
