The Manner Authoritarianism in Getting Younger Activities of the Department of Political Science University of the East

Abstract

This Thesis Presents an Understanding of the Nature of Authoritarianism in the Admissions Activities of Political Science Disciplines at a University in the Isan Region. That is to Say, This Study Uses a Qualitative Research Method. Through in-depth Interviews, Non-participatory Observations and Focus Group by Key Informants including Representative of the Lecturer in Political Science a University in the Northeast a Representative of Students in the Field of Political Science A University in the Northeast and a Representative of Political Science Alumni a University in the Northeastern Region The Results of the Study Showed that the Reproduction of Authoritarianism and Authoritarian Politics in the Admissions Activities of Political Science Disciplines at a University in the Isan Region. Including, (1) Blocking the Opinions and Expressions of junior students. (2) Student freedom Intervention from Teachers. (3) Using emotion is Beyond the Reasons of the Senior Students. (4) Respect to the Seniority System Extremely. (5) Disrespect for the Diversity of Junior Students. (6) Discrimination Against Junior Students Unequally. (7) Sexual Intimidation Against Junior Students. (8) Adhering to the traditional Values of Senior Students.

วิทยานิพนธ์ชิ้นนี้ได้นำเสนอความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับลักษณะอำนาจนิยมในกิจกรรมการรับน้องของสาขาวิชารัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในภาคอีสาน กล่าวคือ งานศึกษาชั้นนี้ใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ผ่านการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก การสังเกตการณ์แบบไม่มีส่วนร่วม และการสนทนากลุ่มย่อย โดยผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ได้แก่ ตัวแทนอาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชารัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในภาคอีสาน ตัวแทนศิษย์เก่าสาขาวิชารัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในภาคอีสาน และตัวแทนนักศึกษาสาขารัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในภาคอีสาน ผลการศึกษา พบว่า การผลิตซ้ำของการเมืองแบบเผด็จการอำนาจนิยมในกิจกรรมการรับน้องของสาขาวิชารัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในภาคอีสาน ได้แก่ (1) การปิดกั้นการแสดงความคิดเห็นและการแสดงออกของนักศึกษารุ่นน้องโดยนักศึกษารุ่นพี่ (2) การแทรกแซงเสรีภาพส่วนบุคคลจากอาจารย์ฝ่ายกิจกรรม (3) การใช้อารมณ์อยู่เหนือเหตุผลของนักศึกษารุ่นพี่ (4) การยึดถือระบบอาวุโสเป็นที่ตั้ง (5) การไม่เคารพความแตกต่างหลากหลายของนักศึกษารุ่นน้อง (6) การเลือกปฏิบัติต่อนักศึกษารุ่นน้องอย่างไม่เท่าเทียม (7) การคุกคามทางเพศต่อนักศึกษารุ่นน้อง (8) การยึดถือค่านิยมแบบเดิมๆของนักศึกษารุ่นพี่
