Abstract: This dissertation focuses on the Chongqing Tujia working song, a vocal form of the Tujia people's nationality in Chongqing,China. The Research Methodology uses the qualitative method. The research objectives were: 1) To investigate the history and development of Chongqing Tujia's working song. 2) To analyze the Characteristics and Music Aesthetics of Chongqing Tujia's working Song. 3) To influence Tujia's working song on society Researchers will use field surveys and other methods, such as questionnaires and interviews. Three key informants, three temporary investigators, and three general investigators were selected. The research results are as follows: 1) Tujia people working in Chongqing have gone through the historical stages from ancient times to the period of "changing the land to return", from "changing the land to return" to the XinHai Revolution to the early days of China, after the establishment of China, and the new era. It has a history of nearly 300 years now. Its history is divided into five periods. In these five periods, with the social environment, population migration, and other factors, the development of Tujia people working in Chongqing has had a significant impact. At the same time, with the passage of time, the performance form of working song has also undergone significant changes, and it is quietly disappearing in the fields and countryside. 2) The characteristics of Tujia people's work songs in Chongqing Lyrics characteristics:clear rhythm, rich interludes, rich sentences, improvisation, and the use of a large number of local dialect vocabulary; Singing characteristics: working songs emphasize articulation and Diaphragmatic breathing; Singing methods often use real voice singing; strong improvisational singing; usually loud and clear when singing; Rhythm characteristics: working songs often use two beats, with a strong sense of rhythm and a clear contrast between strong and weak beats; Melody characteristics: Chongqing Tujia working songs are usually relatively short and often use the traditional Chinese pentatonic mode, which is the Chinese ethnic mode. The most common musical structure is a single segment composed of three or four different-length phrases. Emotional characteristics: straightforward and simple, with a perfect combination of lyrics and emotions. Music's aesthetic characteristics are: The Summoning Structure of Scene generation, imagery unity summoning structure, fusion of emotions and scenes, coexistence of virtual and real, and endless charm. 3) Influence of Tujia's working song on society Tujia people working song in Chongqing is a very complex process that needs to be criticized while collecting views. A person must understand that this is a complex matter. Persons should not only focus on the protection and development of Tujia people's working songs but also let young people learn and understand them and innovate Tujia people's working songs for young people, which is also one of the topics we want to discuss.
