A Development of Learning Activities by SSCS Model on Mathematical Problem Solving and Connection Ability in the Topic of Probability for Mathayomsuksa 4 Students

Abstract

The aims of the research were (1) to study the learning activities by SSCS on mathematical problem solving and connection ability in the topic of probability for Mathayomsuksa 4 students with a required efficiency of 75/75. (2) compare the ability to solve mathematical problems between before and after learning by using SSCS model learning activities. (3) compare the ability to mathematical connection ability between before and after learning by using SSCS model learning activities. (4) to study the students' satisfaction of students to learning activities by SSCS model. The research sample consisted of 40 Mathayomsuksa 4/10 students attending Sarakhampittayakhom school in the second semester of academic year 2022 that selected by cluster random sampling. The instruments used in the study were 9 lesson plans for learning activities SSCS model in the topic of probability, the mathematics problem solving ability test on learning was 5 items is a subjective test, the mathematics connection ability test on learning was 5 items is a subjective test and 15 items rating scale questionnaires on learning satisfaction. The statistical method employed for data analysis was percentage, mean, standard deviation and Wilcoxon signed rank test which were used in the testing hypothese.

The results of the research were as follows:

1. Learning activities by SSCS model on mathematical problem solving and connection ability in the topic of probability for Mathayomsuksa 4 entitled statistics had an efficiency of 82.47/78.83.

2. The students showed gains in mathematical problem-solving ability from before learning at the .05 level of significance.

3. The students showed gains in mathematical connection ability from before learning at the .05 level of significance.

4. The students learning based on learning activities by SSCS model showed gain in satisfactory on learning at the most level (average = 4.58, S.D. = 0.75)

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ (1) ศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS ที่มีต่อความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาและการเชื่อมโยงทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง ความน่าจะเป็น ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 (2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ โดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS ระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน (3) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงทางคณิตศาสตร์โดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS ระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียนและ (4) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนต่อการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4/10 จำนวน 40 คน ที่เรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์พื้นฐาน ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2565 โรงเรียนสารคามพิทยาคม สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเขต 26 ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS เรื่อง ความน่าจะเป็น จำนวน 9 แผน แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ จำนวน 5 ข้อ เป็นแบบทดสอบอัตนัย แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงทางคณิตศาสตร์ จำนวน 5 ข้อ เป็นแบบทดสอบอัตนัย และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจ จำนวน 15 ข้อ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบสมมติฐาน Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏ ดังนี้

1. การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS ที่มีต่อความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาและการเชื่อมโยงทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง ความน่าจะเป็น ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 82.47/78.83

2. นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

3. นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงทางคณิตศาสตร์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

4. นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS มีความพึงพอใจโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.58 และมีส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 0.74
