The Effects of Management Learning by Role Play on English Conversation Ability of Grade 6 Students

Abstract

The purpose of this research aimed 1) Development of role-playing learning on English conversation ability of Grade 6 students to be effective according to the criteria of 70/70. 2) To Compare the English conversation ability of Grade 6 students who received role-play learning. With the criterion of 70 percent, the target group used in this research is Grade 6 students, second semester, academic year 2022, Ban Sam Mun Nak School. Kaeng Khro District Chaiyaphum Province, a total of 11 people, which were obtained through purposive sampling. The research tools included a role-play learning plan that has an effect on English conversation ability of Grade 6 students, a test of everyday conversation and assessment of English conversation ability from role-playing Statistics used in the research include percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The results of the study indicated that;

1. Role-play learning management that affects English conversation ability of primary school students 6 has efficiency (E1/E2) equal to 74.43/75.91, which meets the specified criteria.

2. Students grade 6 who received role-play learning have a score of English conversation ability for 75.91 percent, which was higher than the specified criteria.

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบบทบาทสมติที่มีต่อความสามารถในการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 70/70 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบบทบาทสมมติ กับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 กลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2565 โรงเรียนบ้านซำมูลนาก อำเภอแก้งคร้อ จังหวัดชัยภูมิ จำนวน 11 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบบทบาทสมมติ แบบทดสอบการสนทนาในชีวิตประจำวัน และแบบประเมินความสามารถในการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษจากการแสดงบทบาทสมมติ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า

1. การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบบทบาทสมมติที่มีต่อความสามารถในการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษ ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6มีประสิทธิภาพ (E1/E2) เท่ากับ 74.43/75.91 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด

2. นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบบทบาทสมมติ มีคะแนนความสามารถในการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษ ร้อยละ 75.91 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด
