The development of the 5E of Inquiry-Based Learning and a basic science process skills training set on the topic of the sun and life for grade 3 student

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to develop the 5E of Inquiry-Based Learning together with a basic science process skills training set on the topic of the sun and life to achieve an efficiency of 75/75, 2) to compare basic science process skills on the sun and life topic between pre and post learning using the 5E of Inquiry-Based Learning combined with a basic science process skills training set, and 3) to compare learning achievements on the topic of the sun and life between pre and post learning using the 5E of Inquiry-Based Learning together and a basic science process skills training set, and 4) to study student satisfaction with the 5E of Inquiry-Based Learning together with a basic science process skills training set. The sample group used in this research was 43 grade 3 students in semester 2, academic year 2022, at Anuban Roi Et School using cluster random sampling. The tools used in the research included 1) learning management plans, 2) achievement tests on the sun and life topic, 3) a satisfaction survey form with the 5-step he 5E of Inquiry-Based Learning together with a basic science process skills training set for grade 3 students. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test distribution values in dependent samples.

The results of the research showed as followings: 1) the efficiency (E1/E2) of the 5E of Inquiry-Based Learning activities combined with a basic science process skills training set on the topic of the sun and life in grade 3 students was 79.50/87.85, which was higher than the set criteria, 2) basic science process skills of grade 3 students after learning were significantly higher than before learning at the level of .05 and had higher basic science skills, 3) the academic achievement on the topic of the sun and life using the 5E of Inquiry-Based Learning activities and a set of basic science skills training students after learning was significantly higher than before learning at the .05 level with higher academic achievement, and 4) the student satisfaction with the 5E of Inquiry-Based Learning combined with a basic science skills training set students had a high overall average satisfaction level

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายคือ 1) เพื่อพัฒนากิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5 ขั้น ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นพื้นฐาน เรื่อง ดวงอาทิตย์กับชีวิต มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นพื้นฐาน เรื่อง ดวงอาทิตย์กับชีวิต ก่อนและหลังเรียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5 ขั้น ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นพื้นฐาน 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง ดวงอาทิตย์กับชีวิต ก่อนและหลังเรียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5 ขั้น ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นพื้นฐาน และ 4) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5 ขั้น ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นพื้นฐาน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปี การศึกษา 2565 โรงเรียนอนุบาลร้อยเอ็ด สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาร้อยเอ็ดเขต จำนวน 43 คน ซึ่งได้มาจากวิธีสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster random sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนเรื่อง ดวงอาทิตย์กับชีวิต 3) แบบวัดความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5 ขั้น ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นพื้นฐานของนักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ ค่าแจกแจง t – test แบบ Dependent Samples

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏ ดังนี้ 1) กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5 ขั้นร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นพื้นฐาน เรื่อง ดวงอาทิตย์กับชีวิต สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 มีประสิทธิภาพ (E1/E2) เท่ากับ 79.50/87.85 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่ตั้งไว้ 2) ทักษะกระบวนการวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นพื้นฐานรายวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 มีทักษะพื้นฐานทางวิทยาศาสตร์สูงขึ้น 3) ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง ดวงอาทิตย์กับชีวิตโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5 ขั้น ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะพื้นฐานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ของนักเรียนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนสูงขึ้น และ 4) ความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5 ขั้น ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะพื้นฐานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ของนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจเฉลี่ยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก
