Creativity-Based Learning (CBL) with Mind Mapping to Promote the Creative Writing Ability of Grade 12 Students

Abstract

The objectives of this project are to create a learning approach called creative-based learning (CBL) using mind mapping as a learning management tool. 1) To enhance the creative writing proficiency of 12th grade pupils to meet the 75/75 criteria effectively. 2) The objective is to assess the creative writing abilities of grade 12 students before and after receiving instruction in creative-based learning (CBL) using mind mapping as a teaching method. 3) The objective is to investigate the level of satisfaction among 12th grade students about creative-based learning (CBL) with mind mapping learning management. The sample group consists of grade 12 students from class 6/7 at Phattharaborphit School, located in the Muang Buriram district of Buriram province. 40 students were chosen using cluster random sampling. The research instruments encompass: 1) The educational approach of creative-based learning (CBL) was utilized, using mind mapping as a learning management tool. This approach comprised of 6 lesson plans, each lasting for a total of 12 hours. 2) The creative writing test is a 2-item subjective evaluation. 3) Evaluation of the satisfaction of grade 12 students in creative-based learning (CBL) using mind mapping learning management, consisting of 10 question items. The statistical measures utilized for data analysis encompass percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the assumption test employing a t-test (dependent sample).

The results of the research were as follows:

1) Creative-based learning (CBL) with mind mapping learning management is utilized to enhance the creative writing skills of grade 12 students. This approach has demonstrated an efficiency rate (E1/E2) of 80.03/79.08.

2) Grade 12 students who utilized mind mapping learning management in creative-based learning (CBL) demonstrated a significantly improved ability to write creatively after the lessons, compared to their pre-lesson performance, with a level of significance set at .05.

3) Grade 12 students who implemented mind mapping learning management in creative-based learning (CBL). The degree of overall pleasure reached its peak. (x̄ = 4.57, S.D. = 0.59)

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมาย คือ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสร้างสรรค์เป็นฐานร่วมกับแผนผังความคิด เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการเขียนเชิงสร้างสรรค์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการเขียนเชิงสร้างสรรค์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ก่อนและหลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสร้างสรรค์เป็นฐานร่วมกับแผนผังความคิด 3) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสร้างสรรค์เป็นฐานร่วมกับแผนผังความคิด กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6/7 โรงเรียนภัทรบพิตร อำเภอเมืองบุรีรัมย์ จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ จำนวน 40 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยใช้ห้องเรียนเป็นหน่วยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสร้างสรรค์เป็นฐานร่วมกับแผนผังความคิด จำนวน 6 แผน รวม 12 ชั่วโมง 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการเขียนเชิงสร้างสรรค์ เป็นแบบทดสอบอัตนัย จำนวน 2 ข้อ 3) แบบวัดความพึงพอใจ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสร้างสรรค์เป็นฐานร่วมกับแผนผังความคิด จำนวน 10 ข้อ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ทดสอบสมมติฐานด้วย t-test (Dependent Sample)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสร้างสรรค์เป็นฐานร่วมกับแผนผังความคิด เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการเขียนเชิงสร้างสรรค์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 มีประสิทธิภาพ (E1/E2) เท่ากับ 80.03/79.08

2) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสร้างสรรค์เป็นฐานร่วมกับแผนผังความคิด มีความสามารถในการเขียนเชิงสร้างสรรค์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

3) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสร้างสรรค์เป็นฐานร่วมกับแผนผังความคิด มีความพึงพอใจโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (x̄ = 4.57, S.D. = 0.59)
