Development of Project-based Learning to Enhance Scientific Mind and Learning Achievement in the topic of Azolla in Biology course of Mathayomsuksa 4 Students

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to 1) Determine the efficiency of Inquiry of project-based learning to enhance scientific mind and learning achievement in the topic of Azolla in biology course of Mathayomsuksa 4 students to meet the 75/75 criterion of efficiency 2) Compare the scientific mind regarding Azolla. in the biology course of Mathayomsuksa 4 students after studying with project-based learning activities compared to the criteria of 75 percent. 3) Compare academic achievement on the subject of Azolla. In the biology subject of Mathayomsuksa 4 students after studying with project-based learning activities compared to the criteria of 75 percent. The example is Mathayomsuksa 4/9 students at Sarakhampittayakhom School. Under the Office of the basic education commission Mahasarakham educational service area 1, Semester 2, Academic Year 2023, number of 37 people, were obtained from cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this study were; 1) 10 lesson plan of project-based learning 2) Scientific mind questionnaire and 3) learning achievement test. The statistics used for analyzing data were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. (One simples t-test)

The result of the study revealed that:

1) The efficiency of project-based learning to enhance scientific mind and learning achievement in the topic of Azolla in biology course of Mathayomsuksa 4 students had an efficiency of 92.32/78.99, which meets the criteria of 75/75.

2) Science mind in the topic of Azolla in biology course of Mathayomsuksa 4 students an average score of 4.10 points, calculated as a percentage 81.96 and when compared with the criteria, it was found that the scientific mind on Azolla higher than the threshold with significance at the level .05.

3) Learning achievement in the topic of Azolla in Biology course of Mathayomsuksa 4 students an average score of 30.41 points, calculated as a percentage 76.01 , which meets the criteria of 75

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมาย 1) เพื่อหาประสิทธิภาพของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้โครงงานเป็นฐานเพื่อส่งเสริมจิตวิทยาศาสตร์และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง สาหร่ายแหนแดง ในรายวิชาชีววิทยา ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ให้เป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบจิตวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง สาหร่ายแหนแดง ในรายวิชาชีววิทยา ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังเรียนด้วยกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้โครงงานเป็นฐานเทียบกับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง สาหร่ายแหนแดง ในรายวิชาชีววิทยาของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังเรียนด้วยกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้โครงงานเป็นฐานเทียบกับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 ตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4/9 โรงเรียนสารคามพิทยาคม สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน เขตพื้นที่การศึกษามหาสารคามเขต 1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2566 จำนวน 37 คน ได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบแบ่งกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) โดยวิธีจับสลาก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้โครงงานเป็นฐาน จำนวน 10 แผน แบบสอบถามจิตวิทยาศาสตร์และแบบทดสอบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบสมมติฐานโดยใช้สถิติทดสอบที (One simples t-test)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1) ประสิทธิภาพการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้โครงงานเป็นฐานเพื่อส่งเสริมจิตวิทยาศาสตร์และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง สาหร่ายแหนแดง ในรายวิชาชีววิทยา ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 92.32/78.99 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ 75/75

2) จิตวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง สาหร่ายแหนแดง ในรายวิชาชีววิทยา ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังเรียนด้วยกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้โครงงานเป็นฐานมีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 4.10 คะแนน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 81.96 และเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับเกณฑ์ พบว่า จิตวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง สาหร่ายแหนแดง สูงกว่าเกณฑ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05

3) ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง สาหร่ายแหนแดง ในรายวิชาชีววิทยาของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังเรียนด้วยกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้โครงงานเป็นฐานมีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 30.41 คะแนน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 76.01 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75
