The Development of Chinese Reading and Writing Skills of M2 Students by Applying CIRC Technique and Quizlet

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) To study the effectiveness of CIRC Technique and Quizlet of Mathayomsuksa 2 students for gaining the efficiency according to the standard of 75/75, 2) To compare Chinese phonetic reading skills of Mathayomsuksa 2 students before and after Applying CIRC Technique and Quizlet and 3) To compare Chinese phonetic vocabulary writing skills of Mathayomsuksa 2 students after Applying CIRC Technique and Quizlet with a required efficiency of 75. The sample was 37 students in Mathayomsuksa 2 during the second Semester of Academic Year 2023 from Primary School in Mahasarakham, selected by a cluster random sampling process to collect data, the research methodology used in this research was Pre-experimental Designs (One Group Pretest-Posttest Design) The research instruments were 1) 6 lesson plans applying CIRC Technique and Quizlet, 2) Pre-test and Post-test Chinese phonetic alphabet reading test, 10 questions and 3) Chinese phonetic vocabulary writing skill test. The 20 questions are completion test. The reading and writing tests have a content accuracy (IOC) between 0.80-1.00, the statistics including mean, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing using One Sample t-test and t-test (Dependent samples)

The results of the research show that;

1. The lesson plan of CIRC Technique and Quizlet for Mathayomsuksa 2 students had the efficiency, E1/E2 of 78.08/79.94 gaining, which is higher than the set criterion 75/75.

2. A study of Chinese phonetic reading skills Mathayomsuksa 2 students learning by CIRC Technique and Quizlet that the post-test showed significantly higher score than the pre-test at the .05 level.

3. A study of Chinese phonetic vocabulary writing skills of Mathayomsuksa 2 students after CIRC Technique and Quizlet had average score at 16.14, standard deviation at 0.98, representing 80.68 percent, which was statistically significantly higher than 75 percent criteria of the total score with statistically significant at the .05 level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมาย 1) เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยประยุกต์แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือ CIRC ร่วมกับการใช้แอปพลิเคชัน Quizlet ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะการอ่านออกเสียงสัทอักษรภาษาจีนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ระหว่างก่อนและหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยประยุกต์แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือ CIRC ร่วมกับการใช้แอปพลิเคชัน Quizlet 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะการเขียนคำศัพท์สัทอักษรภาษาจีนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 หลังการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยประยุกต์แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือ CIRC ร่วมกับการใช้แอปพลิเคชัน Quizlet เทียบกับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2/2 โรงเรียนประถมศึกษาแห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดมหาสารคาม ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2566 นักเรียน จำนวน 37 คน ได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster random sampling) โดยใช้วิธีการจับสลาก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย มี 3 ชนิด ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยประยุกต์แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือ CIRC ร่วมกับแอปพลิเคชัน Quizlet จำนวน 6 แผน แผนละ 2 ชั่วโมง รวม 12 ชั่วโมง 2) แบบทดสอบอ่านสัทอักษรภาษาจีน จำนวน 10 ข้อ มีเกณฑ์การประเมินคือ การอ่านออกเสียงหนักเบา การอ่านออกเสียงชัดเจน และการอ่านถูกต้องตามหลักการออกเสียง 3) แบบทดสอบทักษะการเขียนคำศัพท์สัทอักษรภาษาจีน จำนวน 20 ข้อ เป็นแบบทดสอบปรนัยแบบเติมคำ ซึ่งแบบทดสอบการอ่านและการเขียนมีค่าความเที่ยงตรงเชิงเนื้อหา (IOC) อยู่ระหว่าง 0.80-1.00 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบสมมติฐานโดยใช้สถิติทดสอบที One sample t-test และ Dependent samples t-test

ผลการวิจัยปรากฎว่า

1. ผลการศึกษาประสิทธิภาพการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยประยุกต์แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือ CIRC ร่วมกับการใช้แอปพลิเคชัน Quizlet ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 78.08/79.94 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ที่ตั้งไว้ 75/75

2. ผลการศึกษาทักษะการอ่านออกเสียงสัทอักษรภาษาจีนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่เรียนรู้โดยการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยประยุกต์แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือ CIRC ร่วมกับการใช้แอปพลิเคชัน Quizlet มีทักษะการอ่านออกเสียงสัทอักษรภาษาจีนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

3. ผลการศึกษาทักษะการเขียนคำศัพท์สัทอักษรภาษาจีนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 หลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยประยุกต์แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือ CIRC ร่วมกับการใช้แอปพลิเคชัน Quizlet มีคะแนนค่าเฉลี่ย เท่ากับ 16.14 ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน เท่ากับ 0.98 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 80.68 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
