The Program to Enhance Teachers’ Digital Competency in The Secondary Educational Service Area Office KALASIN

Abstract

This research aimed 1) to study current conditions, desirable conditions, and needs to enhance teachers’ digital competency in The Secondary Educational Service Area Office KALASIN, and 2) create and evaluate the program to enhance teachers’ digital competency in The Secondary Educational Service Area Office KALASIN. The research phase is was divided into 2 phases, with Phase 1, studying current conditions, desirable conditions, and needs to enhance teachers’ digital competency in The Secondary Educational Service Area Office KALASIN. The samples were 322 teachers selected through the stratified random sampling. The research instrument used for collecting data was a rating scale questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis included mean and standard deviation. Phase 2, developed a teachers’ digital competency program for The Secondary Educational Service Area Office KALASIN. Evaluated the propriety and feasibility of the teachers’ digital competency program by 5 experts. The research instrument was Semi–structured selection Interview form and statistics used in data analysis include mean, standard deviations, and content analysis.

The results showed that:

1. The current stage of the enhancement of teachers’ digital competency in the Secondary Educational Service Area Office KALASIN was at moderate level overall. The desirable conditions stage of the enhancement of teachers’ digital competency in the Secondary Educational Service Area Office KALASIN was at highest level overall. The needs to develop a teachers’ digital competency which were ranged from more to less were Digital transformation adaptation, Problem Solving with Digital Tools, Digital Using, and Digital literacy.

2. The Program to Enhance Teachers’ Digital Competency in The Secondary Educational Service Area Office KALASIN consists of 1. Principle 2. Objectives 3. Content, consisting of 4 modules, namely, 1) Adaptive Digital Transform, 2) Problem Solving with Digital Tools, 3) Digital Skill, and 4) Digital literacy. 4. Development method, and 5. Measurement and evaluation. Moreover, the results of assessing the appropriateness and feasibility of the teachers’ digital competency program by 5 experts were at highest level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็นของการเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษากาฬสินธุ์ 2) สร้างและประเมินโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษากาฬสินธุ์ โดยใช้วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย แบ่งเป็น 2 ระยะ คือ ระยะที่ 1 ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษากาฬสินธุ์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ครู จำนวน 322 คน เลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามแบบมาตรประมาณค่า สถิติในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ระยะที่ 2 การพัฒนาโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษากาฬสินธุ์ ประเมินความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู โดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 5 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง สถิติในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. สภาพปัจจุบันของการเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษากาฬสินธุ์ โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษากาฬสินธุ์ โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด และความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู เรียงลำดับความต้องการจำเป็นจากมากไปน้อย ได้แก่ 1) การปรับตัวการเปลี่ยนแปลงดิจิทัล 2) การแก้ปัญหาด้วยเครื่องมือดิจิทัล 3) การใช้ดิจิทัล และ 4) การรู้ดิจิทัล

2. โปรแกรมเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษากาฬสินธุ์ ประกอบด้วย 1. หลักการ 2. วัตถุประสงค์ 3. เนื้อหา ประกอบด้วย 4 โมดูล ได้แก่ Module 1 การปรับตัวการเปลี่ยนแปลงดิจิทัล Module 2 การแก้ปัญหาด้วยเครื่องมือดิจิทัล Module 3 การใช้ดิจิทัล Module 4 การรู้ดิจิทัล 4. กิจกรรมและเครื่องมือการพัฒนา 5. การวัดและประเมินผล ผลการประเมินโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ มีความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดิจิทัลสำหรับครู อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
