Abstract: | As a creative and effective teaching organization form and teaching strategy, cooperative learning method plays an important role in education and teaching. The purpose of this article's research is to use cooperative learning teaching methods to improve students' learning abilities and students' core competencies. The research sample is a total of 60 students in two classes of the physics major of Guangxi Normal University for Nationalities. Each class has 30 students. They are divided into a control group and an experimental group according to the class: Method 1: Control group is taught using traditional teaching methods; Method 2: Experimental group used cooperative learning teaching method for teaching. Research tools: (1) Traditional teaching method teaching design and cooperative learning method teaching design. (2) One student learning ability questionnaire. The same questionnaire is used for pre-test and post-test. The confidence value range of the student learning ability questionnaire is 0.67-1.00. (3) One student core literacy questionnaire. The same questionnaire is used for pre-test and post-test. The confidence value range of the student core literacy questionnaire is 0.67-1.00. The questionnaire was designed using a Likert scale, the questionnaire used a 5-point scale, and the mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the data.
