Agri - Tourism Management Model in the Model of Community in Mid North-Eastern Provincial Cluster, Thailand

Abstract

A study of Agri-Tourism Management Model in the Model of community in Mid North - Eastern Provincial Cluster, Thailand. The objectives of this research are to study; 1) the context of tourism resources and Agri - Tourism activities; 2) the Agri-tourism Management; 3) the community participation management of agricultural lifestyle contact tourism; 4) the tourists’ behaviors and opinions toward agri-tourism; and 5) the management model of agricultural lifestyle contact tourism model community in the mid north - eastern provincial cluster, Thailand.

This study is the survey research, mixed method, combines qualitative and quantitative methods. The population is a purposive sample, three types of tools were used: 1) 33 structured interview forms are used with village headmen of the local community and government officers who have a role in the model community 2) focused group for a group of 8-15 participants including community leaders and representatives from different career groups; and 3) closed-ended questionnaires were used with 400 tourists. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Chi-square test.

The results of this study show that 1) the context of Agri - Tourism of the community model is compost of natural resources, culture and tradition, local wisdom, career groups, and visiting place. The activities are nature walking trail, local products, demonstration of agricultural product processing, knowledge sharing and community business presentation; 2) In term of agri-tourism management, it should focus on 2 key factors including: 1) Agri-tourism management following the sufficiency economy philosophy and 2) Knowledge sharing by the agri-tourism communities; 3) Most of the member in the model communities were engaged in agri-tourism management in all of those 4 dimensions; 4) The opinions of tourists in Agri-tourism showed in 3 dimensions including the activities, the service and the management of the community, and 5) The data analyzing and synthesis can create the management of agricultural lifestyle contact tourism in mid north - eastern provincial cluster model, which compost of 6 key components, the Agri-tourism Management, Community Organization, Natural Resource and Culture, Agri-tourism Activities, Tourist Learning, and Agri-tourism Service; this was called “MORALS Model”, and the tourists are satisfied with the model.

การศึกษาเรื่อง รูปแบบการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสัมผัสวิถีชีวิตเกษตรของชุมชนต้นแบบในพื้นที่กลุ่มจังหวัดภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนกลาง ประเทศไทย มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาบริบทการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรของชุมชนต้นแบบ 2) การบริหารจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร 3) การมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรโดยชุมชน 4) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมและความคิดเห็นของนักท่องเที่ยวที่มีต่อการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสัมผัสวิถีชีวิตเกษตร และ 5) สร้างรูปแบบการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสัมผัสวิถีชีวิตเกษตรของชุมชนในกลุ่มจังหวัดภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนกลาง การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจแบบผสานวิธี (Mixed Method) ด้วยการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและเชิงปริมาณ ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง มีเครื่องมือ 3 แบบ ได้แก่ 1) แบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกใช้กับผู้นำชุมชนและเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ จำนวน 33 คน 2) การประชุมกลุ่มย่อยใช้กับผู้นำชุมชนและตัวแทนของกลุ่มอาชีพ จำนวน 8 – 15 คน 3) แบบสอบถามปลายปิดใช้กับนักท่องเที่ยว จำนวน 400 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา และสถิติทดสอบไคสแควร์ (Chi-Square)

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) บริบทการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรของชุมชนต้นแบบ มีทรัพยากรท่องเที่ยว 5 ประเภท คือ ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ วัฒนธรรมและประเพณี ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น กลุ่มอาชีพ และสถานที่สำคัญ โดยมีกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรของชุมชน คือ การศึกษาเส้นทางธรรมชาติ การจำหน่ายสินค้าชุมชน การสาธิตขั้นตอนการแปรรูปสินค้าทางการเกษตร การถ่ายทอดความรู้ และการแนะนำธุรกิจชุมชน 2) การบริหารจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรของชุมชนต้นแบบพบว่ามี 2 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านการจัดการธุรกิจการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรตามหลักการปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง และด้านการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ของกลุ่มท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร 3) ชาวบ้านทุกชุมชนต้นแบบต่างมีส่วนร่วมในการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรทั้ง 4 ด้าน 4) ความคิดเห็นของนักท่องเที่ยวที่มีต่อการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสัมผัสวิถีชีวิตเกษตร พบว่ามี 3 ด้าน คือ ด้านกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร ด้านการให้บริการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร และด้านการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรโดยชุมชน เมื่อนำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์และทำการสังเคราะห์ร่วมกับผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียจึงนำมาสร้างเป็น 5) รูปแบบการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสัมผัสวิถีชีวิตเกษตรของชุมชน ในกลุ่มจังหวัดภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนกลาง โดยมีองค์ประกอบสำคัญ 6 ด้าน ได้แก่ การจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร (Management) องค์กรชุมชน (Organization) ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและวัฒนธรรม (Recourses) กิจกรรมท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร (Activities) การเรียนรู้ของนักท่องเที่ยว (Learning) และการบริการ (Service) หรือ “MORALS Model” เมื่อนำรูปแบบดังกล่าวไปทดสอบด้วยการทดลองนำเที่ยว นักท่องเที่ยวมีความพอใจต่อรูปแบบดังกล่าว
