The Development of Elderly Oral health Care Model with Community Network in Kae Village, Non Sila Sub-District, Sahatsakhan District, Kalasin Provice

Abstract

This participatory action research aimed to study the results of development of elderly oral health care model with community network in Kae village, Nonsila sub-district, Sahatsakhan district, Kalasin provice. The target group consisted of 61 elderly people and 26 people involved in the oral care model for the elderly in the area. Data were collected using questionnaires, Oral health examination recording form, interview form, group discussion recording form, observation form, and follow-up supervision form. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, distributing frequencies, percentages, mean, standard deviation, median, maximum-minimum, Paired sample t-test, and Wilcoxon signed ranks test as well as content analysis for qualitative data.

The results of the study found that The development of elderly oral health care model with community network used the PAOR process, consisting of 6 steps: 1) context base study and analysis of the problems 2) holding a workshop 3) participatory planning activities 4) action 5) supervision and 6) evaluation conclusion and suggestions. The process leading to success in systematic oral health care for the elderly. The results of operations after the development found that the elderly have knowledge in taking care of their oral health and practice taking care of their oral health has increased significantly. การศึกษาวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วมครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลการพัฒนารูปแบบการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากผู้สูงอายุโดยเครือข่ายชุมชนบ้านแก ตำบลโนนศิลา อำเภอสหัสขันธ์ จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ กลุ่มเป้าหมายประกอบด้วย ผู้สูงอายุ จำนวน 61 คน และผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับรูปแบบการดูแลช่องปากผู้สูงอายุในพื้นที่ จำนวน 26 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม แบบบันทึกการตรวจสุขภาพช่องปาก แบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบบันทึกการสนทนากลุ่ม แบบสังเกต และแบบนิเทศติดตาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่ามัธยฐาน และค่าสูงสุด-ต่ำสุด สถิติเชิงอนุมาน ได้แก่ Paired sample t-test และ Wilcoxon signed ranks test ส่วนข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพใช้การวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา

ผลการศึกษา พบว่า การพัฒนารูปแบบการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากผู้สูงอายูโดยเครือข่ายชุมชนในครั้งนี้ใช้กระบวนการ PAOR ประกอบด้วย 6 ขั้นตอน คือ 1) ศึกษาบริบท วิเคราะห์สภาพปัญหา 2) ประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ 3) ทำแผนปฏิบัติการ 4) ปฏิบัติตามแผนปฏิบัติการ 5) นิเทศติดตาม 6) สรุป ปัญหา อุปสรรคในการดำเนินงานและวางแผนในการแก้ไขปัญหา ซึ่งกระบวนการดังกล่าวนำไปสู่ความสำเร็จในการการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากผู้สูงอายุอย่างมีระบบทำให้ผลการดำเนินงานหลังการพัฒนา พบว่า ผู้สูงอายุมีความรู้ในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากและมีการปฏิบัติตัวในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p-value
