Ear Training Teaching Instructional Model for Isan folk music in Higher Education Academy, Thailand

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a learning management system for the Thailand Institute of Higher Education's Isaan folk music ear training program. In order to synthesize information and create a learning model that blends theory and practice, the research and development technique includes obtaining data from five higher education institutions, conducting expert interviews, and analyzing key documents and studies. There are eight basic phases in the recognized learning paradigm. Overview of core ideas. Studying folk music notation, identifying rhythms, getting to know folk instruments, hearing note identification, and reading and performing from sheet music are all part of the process. The curriculum integrates both traditional and western music, thereby consolidating the results and learnings. Through the learning assessment, which places equal emphasis on theoretical and practical aspects, students can improve their ability to hear and become proficient performers of Isaan folk music. The expert review's results demonstrate the effectiveness of this model in nurturing Isaan folk music talent, making it appropriate for implementation in higher education institutions. It received an average score of 4.73.
