Tang Dynasty Palace Dance in Luoyang: Guidelines for Conservation and Development

Abstract

This article takes Luoyang City, Henan Province, China as the research location, analyzes the historical and cultural status of the Tang Dynasty in this area, sorts out the cultural and artistic heritage and clarifies its cultural value, summarizes the dilemma encountered by the contemporary development of Tang Dynasty palace dance, and thus explores the path for the protection and development of traditional dance art. The Luoyang area is rich in historical, cultural and artistic heritage resources of the Tang Dynasty. However, although these cultural resources are very rich, these historical resources have not been able to be reused from the perspective of academic research on Tang Dynasty dance or dance choreography innovation. In the new era, the economy is developing rapidly, but due to the lack of attention to cultural and artistic heritage, the palace dance of the Tang Dynasty is gradually disappearing from people's sight, and the problem of being unable to continue China's excellent traditional culture has become increasingly prominent. The main purpose of this study is to clarify its cultural value by sorting out the cultural and artistic heritage in Luoyang area, and to help better protect and develop the palace dance of the Tang Dynasty.

This paper has three research purposes: 1) Study the history of Tang Dynasty Palace Dance; 2) Study present situation and problems of conservation palace dance in Tang Dynasty in Luoyang;3)Study guideline for conservation and development path of palace dance in Tang Dynasty.

This article mainly uses qualitative research methods to study the cultural and artistic heritage resources in Luoyang area. Information and data were obtained through documentary observation, interviews and group discussions. The purpose of this article is to better protect and develop the art of palace dance in the Tang Dynasty, improve cultural identity, and enhance national cohesion. Crowd and sample atmosphere: (1) Key Informants: Tang Dynasty historians and dance experts; (2) Casual Informants: dance practitioners; (3) General information: citizens, tourists.

The study believes that the problems affecting the protection and development of palace dance in the Tang Dynasty are mainly four aspects: weak cultural atmosphere, lack of professional talents, imbalance of cultural supply and demand, and insufficient adherence to tradition and innovation. The reasons for the above problems are nothing more than ideological consciousness and There are deviations in the understanding of the correct cultural concept. The number, scale, and classification of the talent team and the protection mechanism and service system of government departments for the Tang Dynasty palace dance are not perfect. The relationship between the supply body, content, and methods is not properly handled. The cultural management and educational functions Insufficiency, sticking to tradition and lacking quality masterpieces, etc.

The final study shows that we must continue to adhere to the correct development aspects, strengthen the guiding role of art, achieve the combination of tradition and the times, and protect the rational use of cultural resources. Cultivate the cultural self-confidence of young people, pay attention to the value leadership role of young people, cultivate their practical ability, and actively mobilize the role of outstanding performers in demonstrating. Deepen the reform of the cultural innovation and development mechanism, innovate the endogenous power mechanism of the mass spontaneous team as a unit, improve the cultural macro management mechanism, and establish and protect the participation and expression rights of basic groups. Promote the innovation and development of keeping integrity, and realize the innovative development of the Tang Dynasty palace dance culture based on the needs of the masses, industrial development, and the use of the Internet.
