Home-based Learning Activities for Enhance Goal-Directed Skills to Success of Early Childhood

Abstract

This research aims to: 1)study the implementation of an early childhood home-based learning activity with an emphasis on goal-setting skills for early childhood success; and 2) Prior to and during the adoption of early childhood home-based learning activities, compare the ability to create goals for achievement. Furthermore, the study's objectives 3) to determine how satisfied parents are with the early children home-based learning activities that foster success-oriented goal-setting. The sample for this study consisted of 12 kindergarten-aged early childhood kids (ages 4 to 6) who were enrolled at Ban Don Daeng School during the second semester of the 2024 academic year. Purposive sampling was used in their selection. A collection of six sets of parent-centered learning activities and an observation form for evaluating early childhood goal-setting abilities in four domains were among the research tools, with a reliability coefficient of 0.84. The research duration was 6 weeks, and data were analyzed using average (x̅), standard deviation (S.D.) and the Wilcoxon signed-rank test.

The results indicated that young children who participated in home-based learning activities to enhance their goal-setting skills showed significantly higher levels of goal-setting for success after the intervention, compared to before the activities, with statistical significance at the .05 level.

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1.) เพื่อศึกษาการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้บ้านเป็นฐาน สำหรับเด็กปฐมวัย โดยเน้นทักษะการมุ่งเป้าหมายสู่ความสำเร็จของเด็กปฐมวัย 2.) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะการมุ่งเป้าหมายสู่ความสำเร็จ ก่อนและหลังการจัดกิจกรรมเรียนรู้โดยใช้บ้านเป็นฐานสำหรับเด็กปฐมวัย 3.) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองต่อการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้บ้านเป็นฐานสำหรับเด็กปฐมวัย เพื่อเสริมสร้างทักษะการมุ่งเป้าหมายสู่ความสำเร็จ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นเด็กปฐมวัยที่มีอายุระหว่าง 4 - 6 ปี ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในชั้นอนุบาล ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2567 โรงเรียนบ้านดอนแดง จำนวน 12 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยวิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้บ้านเป็นฐานสำหรับผู้ปกครอง จำนวน 6 ชุด และแบบสังเกตทักษะการมุ่งเป้าหมายสู่ความสำเร็จของเด็กปฐมวัยจำนวน 4 ด้าน มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.84 ระยะเวลาที่ใช้ในการวิจัย 6 สัปดาห์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การหาค่าเฉลี่ย (x̅) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) และสถิติที่ใช้การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ สถิติ Wilcoxon sign test

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า เด็กปฐมวัยที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้บ้านเป็นฐาน เพื่อเสริมสร้างทักษะการมุ่งเป้าหมายสู่ความสำเร็จของเด็กปฐมวัย สูงกว่าก่อนการจัดประสบการณ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
