A Peer-Assisted Aesthetic Learning Model Using Multimedia to Enhance Undergraduate Students' Songwriting Skills for Children's Songs

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) explore current state, problems, and needs of songwriting skills in higher education 2) develop a peer-assisted aesthetic learning model using multimedia to enhance undergraduate students’ songwriting skills for children’s songs 3) implement the model in a practical setting; and 4) evaluate the effectiveness of the model. The research sample was divided into 2 groups: 503 students and 19 lecturers in phase 1, 30 students and 430 preschoolers in phase 3. The research tools included 1) a questionnaire 2) a model 3) a rating scale for assessing songwriting skills 4) a questionnaire for assessing satisfaction and 5) an approval form of the model. The findings were: 1) Most students lacked musical background and had no experience in songwriting. Most lecturers had no written children’s songs. The level of problems both students and lecturers was moderate, while the need level was high for both groups. 2) The model consisted of 11 key components 3) The implementation of the model revealed that 100% of students met the 70% criterion. Most preschoolers liked the songs composed by the students. 4) The evaluation of the model was rated the highest level of satisfaction. Experts also endorsed the model at the highest level overall.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพ ปัญหา และความต้องการเกี่ยวกับการจัดการเรียนรู้เพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะการประพันธ์เพลงเด็กปฐมวัยของผู้เรียนระดับอุดมศึกษา 2) พัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนรู้สุนทรียภาพแบบเพื่อนช่วยเพื่อนโดยใช้มัลติมีเดียเพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะการประพันธ์เพลงเด็กปฐมวัยของผู้เรียนระดับอุดมศึกษา 3) ทดลองใช้รูปแบบฯ 4) ประเมินผลการใช้รูปแบบฯ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้เรียน 503 คน ผู้สอน 19 คน ในระยะที่ 1 และผู้เรียน 30 คน และเด็กปฐมวัย 430 คน ในระยะที่ 3 เครื่องมือวิจัย คือ 1)แบบสอบถามสภาพ ปัญหา และความต้องการ 2) รูปแบบฯ 3) แบบประเมินทักษะการประพันธ์เพลงเด็กปฐมวัย 4) แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจ และ 5) แบบรับรอง ผลวิจัยพบว่า 1) สภาพ ปัญหา และความต้องการมีดังนี้ ผู้เรียนส่วนใหญ่ไม่มีพื้นฐานทางดนตรีและไม่มีประสบการณ์ประพันธ์เพลงเด็ก ใช้การแปลงเพลงและต้องรู้เกี่ยวกับโน้ตดนตรี ผู้สอนส่วนใหญ่ไม่มีผลงานประพันธ์เพลงเด็กปฐมวัย ระดับปัญหาของทั้งผู้เรียนและผู้สอนอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนระดับความต้องการอยู่ในระดับมากเหมือนกัน 2) รูปแบบฯ มี 11 องค์ประกอบ 3) การทดลองใช้รูปแบบฯ ผู้เรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 100 และความพึงพอใจของเด็กปฐมวัยที่มีต่อเพลงส่วนใหญ่รู้สึกชอบเพลงที่ผู้เรียนประพันธ์ 4) การประเมินผลการใช้รูปแบบฯ พบว่าระดับความพึงพอใจของผู้เรียนที่มีต่อรูปแบบฯ อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด และผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิรับรองรูปแบบฯ โดยประเมินอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
