Developing a Program to Enhance English Teachers' Active Learning Management Under the Office of Mahasarakham Primary Education Service Area 3

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the current conditions. and 2) Develop a program to strengthen the active learning management of English teachers. The research is divided into two phases: Phase 1: Current Condition Study; The sample used in the research was teachers. The stratified sampling tools used were questionnaires, statistics were used such as averages, standard deviations, and necessary needs index (PNImodified) Phase 2 developed a program to strengthen proactive learning management by interviewing 5 data providers from 3 educational institutions with best practices. The statistics used include mean and standard deviation.

The results show that the current condition of proactive learning management is moderate. The aspect with the highest average value is measurement and evaluation based on actual conditions. The desirable condition is at the highest level. The necessary needs are in order: 1) learning design, 2) learning management through the thinking process, 3) use and development of media, technology, and innovation, and 4) measurement and evaluation according to actual conditions. The program consists of 4 modules: Module 1: Learning Design (40 hours), Module 2: Learning Management by Practice through Thought Process (30 hours), Module 3: Use and Development of Media, Technology, and Innovation for Learning Management (20 hours), and Module 4: Measurement and Evaluation of Learning Results Based on Actual Conditions (10 hours), for a total period of 100 hours.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็นของการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกของครูผู้สอนภาษาอังกฤษ และ 2) พัฒนาโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกของครูผู้สอนภาษาอังกฤษ งานวิจัยแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ระยะ ได้แก่ ระยะที่ 1 การศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็น กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ครูผู้สอน จำนวน 267 คน โดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้น (Stratified Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็น (PNImodified) ระยะที่ 2 พัฒนาโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ให้ข้อมูลจำนวน 5 คน จาก 3 สถานศึกษา ที่มีแนวปฏิบัติที่ดี (Best Practices) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ และแบบประเมินความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของโปรแกรม สถิติที่ใช้ ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สภาพปัจจุบันของการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดคือ การวัดและประเมินผลตามสภาพจริง สภาพที่พึงประสงค์อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด โดยความต้องการจำเป็นเรียงตามลำดับได้แก่ 1) การออกแบบการเรียนรู้ 2) การจัดการเรียนรู้ผ่านกระบวนการคิด 3) การใช้และพัฒนาสื่อ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม 4) การวัดและประเมินผลตามสภาพจริง สำหรับโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุก ประกอบด้วย 4 โมดูล ประกอบด้วย โมดูลที่ 1 การออกแบบการเรียนรู้ (40 ชั่วโมง) โมดูลที่ 2 การจัดการเรียนรู้โดยการลงมือปฏิบัติผ่านกระบวนการทางความคิด (30 ชั่วโมง) โมดูลที่ 3 การใช้และพัฒนาสื่อ เทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรม เพื่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ (20 ชั่วโมง) และโมดูลที่ 4 การวัดและประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ตามสภาพจริง (10 ชั่วโมง) รวมระยะเวลา 100 ชั่วโมง โดยรวมมีความเหมาะสมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด และมีความเป็นไปได้อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
