Yulin Xiao Qu Chinese Folk Songs in Northern Shaanxi Province

Abstract

The research “Yulin Xiao Qu Chinese Folk Songs in Northern Shaanxi Province ” have three objections.Respectively are:1）To investigate the current status of Yulin Xiao Qu Chinese folk songs in northern Shaanxi Province. 2)To analyze the singing technique of Yulin Xiao Qu Chinese folk songs in northern Shaanxi Province.3)To purpose the guidelines for the preservation and transmission of Yulin Xiao Qu Chinese folk songs in northern Shaanxi Province.This study uses qualitative research such as interviews and observations of key informants, field research, and musicological methods to analyze Yulin Xiao Qu .The results are as follows:

1) Based on literature analysis and interviews, the researchers classified the development and current status of Yulin Xiao Qu according to the period classification, and combined with field investigation and observation, summarized and sorted out the six development periods and current status of Yulin Xiao Qu .1. The Origin of Yulin Xiao Qu (AD1518-1864) 2. The Development period of Yulin Xiao Qu (1909-1914) 3. The Popular period of Yulin Xiao Qu (1949-1960) 4. The Declining period of Yulin Xiao Qu (1966-1976) 5. The Recovery period of Yulin Xiao Qu (1976-1986) 6. The transmission and development period of Yulin Xiao Qu after 1990—2024.

2) This chapter also comprehensively introduces the basic basic skills and practice methods necessary for singing Yulin Xiao Qu.The study focuses on mastering the singing skills of Yulin Xiao Qu by analyzing the singing skills of 5 representative Xiao Qu 1. Singing technique of northern Shaanxi folk song Yulin Xiao Qu 2. Application of singing technique of Yulin Xiao Qu in the song.

3) The researcher conducted in-depth interviews with all informants through field investigation. It is believed that the transmission and preservation work of Yulin Xiao Qu has been supported by relevant transmissionors and researchers, and the specific measures for the transmission and preservation of Yulin Xiao Qu are summarized.
