| Abstract: | This research is set against the backdrop of cultural and tourism integration, aiming to enhance the image shaping and effective dissemination of Yuzhou Jun Porcelain culture through media innovation. Qualitative research methods were employed with four primary objectives: (1) To research the historical origins of the culture of Jun porcelain in Yuzhou, Henan Province. (2) To analyze the historical value, technical and technological value, cultural value and artistic value of Jun porcelain. (3) To analyze the ways in which tourists understand the culture of juniper and (4) Create media to promote the cultural image and Dissemination of Jun Porcelain Cultural Symbols in the context of integrating culture and tourism. The population and sample of the research included a diverse range of groups such as Jun Porcelain cultural tourists, makers and craftsmen, as well as operators and practitioners in the cultural tourism industry. Purposive sampling techniques were used to ensure data relevance and representativeness.
The instruments used in the research were observation, interviews, surveys, and questionnaires. Statistics used are percentage value, mean and standard deviation.In the context of cultural integration and tourism, the overall satisfaction evaluation result for creating media that promotes the cultural image and spreads Jun Porcelain cultural symbols was 3.1 (standard deviation = 1.9). Tourists showed high interest in Jun Porcelain culture but indicated room for improvement in current dissemination channels.
Research findings suggest that Jun Porcelain, as a treasure of Chinese ceramic art originating from the Tang Dynasty and flourishing in the Song Dynasty, is renowned for its unique kiln-changing art. It not only has profound historical significance but also contains rich aesthetic value and cultural meaning, making it an important part of traditional Chinese culture.
Tourists primarily engage with Jun Porcelain culture through on-site visits to museums, production workshops, and cultural festivals. The role of social media and online platforms in spreading Jun Porcelain culture is increasingly prominent. Interests of tourists focus on the historical background, artistic features, and craftsmanship of Jun Porcelain.
By refining elements such as glaze color, shape, and patterns of Jun Porcelain, symbols characteristic of Jun Porcelain culture were designed. The potential application of new media technologies like virtual reality in spreading Jun Porcelain culture was explored, proposing cross-media collaboration and online-offline linkage strategies to expand Jun Porcelain culture's influence.
A branding and promotion plan for Jun Porcelain cultural tourism was proposed. By building a brand image for Jun Porcelain cultural tourism, planning tourist routes, developing cultural experience activities, and creating tourism products, the visibility and appeal of Jun Porcelain culture are enhanced.
The discussion emphasized the importance of media innovation in spreading Jun Porcelain culture, pointing out that the application of new media and virtual reality technology can broaden communication channels and increase the recognition and impact of Jun Porcelain culture.
In terms of recommendations, strategies such as intensifying the promotion of Jun Porcelain culture, developing innovative Jun Porcelain cultural tourism products, encouraging the integration of Jun Porcelain culture with related industries, focusing on the international spread of Jun Porcelain culture, and enhancing the protection and inheritance of Jun Porcelain culture were proposed to provide useful references for promoting the inheritance and development of Jun Porcelain culture. - |
