| dc.description.abstract | This study is a Qualitative research and it studies the cultural heritage and spatial production of the White Crane Ridge. There are four main research objectives: 1) to study the history and development of the White Crane Ridge from the past to the present; 2) to study the formation of the past space and heritage from the perspective of space production; 3) to study the current space production and heritage of the White Crane Ridge from the perspective of space production; 4) to analyze the role of the cultural festival between the past and the present space production. The results show that the space of the White Crane Ridge is shaped by the natural environment and human activities. From the stone fish scale in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, to the spring fish watch and poetry inscriptions in the Song and Yuan dynasties, to the modern underwater museums and cultural festivals, the space of the White Crane Ridge has undergone an evolution from practical functions to cultural symbols. This evolution not only reflects the change of social and economic structure, but also reflects the evolution of human space utilization mode. The research adopted Lifefer's theory of "production of space" to explain the physical space, social space and spiritual space in the past, as well as the spatial practice of people in this space. Research shows that the past space production of the White Crane Ridge is a cultural production process, and the past space practice has created cultural heritage. The research in this paper also explores the close connection between the current spatial form and the heritage of the White Crane Ridge. The research shows that the current space production of the White Crane Ridge is a dynamic construction process for the continuous utilization of heritage, and it is completed by the synergistic effect of "authoritative discourse" system and "folk discourse" system."Authoritative discourse" is scientific, objective and rational. In the current space production process of the White Crane Ridge, the government usually effectively controls the utilization of heritage through the "authoritative discourse" system, so as to ensure that its value utilization conforms to the core goal and does not deviate from the objective facts."Folk discourse" is relaxed and lively, not confined to any form of expression. In general, most people choose the expression mode of "folk discourse". For example, the White Crane Ridge Cultural Festival is a typical example of innovative heritage expression. The academic space is based on the authoritative discourse system, while the tourism space and the memory space combine the expression mode of folk discourse. Through theoretical research and case analysis, this paper proves that the production of space is a dynamic and continuous construction process, and it is always closely related to social life. Space creates heritage, which in turn restricts the expression of space. | en |
