The study “Traditional Villages of Shibanyan in Linzhou, Henan Province: Local Wisdom and Nostalgic Economy in the Context of Sustainable Development” is a basic study. The objectives of the study are threefold: 1)  Study historical and the value of relation beterween the human, geography, natural environment, to rise a local wisdom and artistry of Shibanyan traditional villages. 2)Study the Formation of Local Wisdom related to building construction and houses in Shibanyan Traditional Village.3) Study the concept business of nostalgia in Shibanyan Traditional Village, focusing on its potential to transform local heritage into economic opportunities through tourism, artisanal crafts, and cultural products.          The study shows that Shibanyan traditional villages, in their long-term interaction with the natural environment, have formed a unique local wisdom, including the village site selection that is adapted to the local conditions, the architectural technology that makes efficient use of resources, and the spatial organization mode that is adapted to the ecological environment. This wisdom not only reflects a high degree of harmony between humans and nature, but also provides important insights for contemporary sustainable development. Meanwhile, nostalgia economy, as an economic model connecting history and modernity, has become the core driving force for the revitalization of Shibanyan villages. By tapping into and reinventing the traditional culture and local wisdom of the past, the nostalgia economy has activated the social and economic potential of the village. However, the development process also faces challenges such as over-commercialization of culture and weakening of local community discourse. An important finding of this study is that the “local wisdom” developed in the “Shibanyan Traditional Village” is being utilized by the “nostalgia economy”, which can promote the sustainable development of the traditional village. The paper further suggests that in balancing cultural conservation and economic development, a comprehensive governance model should be built with community as the core and multi-party participation, so as to promote the sustainable development of Shibanyan villages from the dimensions of ecological conservation, cultural heritage and economic revitalization. This framework not only helps the protection and innovation of traditional villages, but also provides a reference path for the protection and utilization of similar traditional villages.en
