Development of Mathematical Problem Solving Ability for Mathayomsuksa 2 Students by Using Search Solve Create Share and Concrete Pictorial Abstract

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop the mathematical problem solving ability of Mathayomsuksa 2 students by using Search Solve Create Share and Concrete Pictorial Abstract to achieve tto achieve the criteria 70 percent. The target group was 40 students of matthayomsuksa 2 students at Sarakhampittayakhom School, Mueang District, Mahasarakham Province. They were selected by using the purposive sampling. The research instruments comprised: 1) 12 lesson plans designed in accordance with the Search Solve Create Share model integrated with the Concrete Pictorial Abstract approach on the topic of geometric congruence and 2) three sets of subjective mathematical problem-solving tests, each consisting of four items. The research was conducted using an action research methodology, which was implemented across three iterative cycles. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, percentage, and standard deviation. The results indicated progressive improvement in students’ mathematical problem-solving performance. In Cycle 1, 22 students, representing 55.00 percent achieved scores at or above the 70 percent benchmark, with an average score of 21.00. In Cycle 2, this number increased to 27 students, representing 67.50 percent, with an average score of 22.40. In Cycle 3, 34 students representing 85.00 percent met the benchmark, with an average score of 25.68.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ Search Solve Create Share ร่วมกับแนวคิด Concrete Pictorial Abstract ให้คะแนนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2/10 ที่เรียนในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2567 โรงเรียนสารคามพิทยาคม จำนวน 40 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ Search Solve Create Share ร่วมกับแนวคิด Concrete Pictorial Abstract เรื่อง ความเท่ากันทุกประการ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 จำนวน 12 แผน 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ เป็นแบบทดสอบแบบอัตนัยทั้งหมดจำนวน 3 ชุด ชุดละ 4 ข้อ การวิจัยในครั้งนี้ใช้กระบวนการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ ประกอบด้วยวงจรปฏิบัติการวิจัย 3 วงจร โดยสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้ วงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 1 ใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ Search Solve Create Share ร่วมกับแนวคิด Concrete Pictorial Abstract พบว่า จำนวนนักเรียนที่มีคะแนนความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 มีจำนวน 22 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 55.00 โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 21.00 วงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 2 พบว่า จำนวนนักเรียนที่มีคะแนนความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 มีจำนวน 27 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 67.50 โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 22.40 วงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 3 พบว่า จำนวนนักเรียนที่มีคะแนนความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 มีจำนวน 34 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 85.00 โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 25.68
