A Development of Scientific Competencies and Learning Achievement of Mathayomsuksa 4 Students By Using The 7E Learning Cycle combined with KWDL Technique on Topic of Solutions

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) compare scientific competency on the topic of solutions before and after learning through the 7-step learning cycle (7E) combined with the KWDL technique; 2) compare scientific competency on the topic of solutions after learning with the 70 percent proficiency criterion based on full scores through the 7-step learning cycle (7E) combined with the KWDL technique; 3) compare learning achievement on the topic of solutions before and after learning through the 7-step learning cycle (7E) combined with the KWDL technique; 4) compare learning achievement on the topic of solutions after learning with the 70 percent proficiency criterion based on full scores through the 7-step learning cycle (7E) combined with the KWDL technique; and 5) study the satisfaction of Mathayomsuksa 4 (Grade 10) students towards the 7-step learning cycle (7E) combined with the KWDL technique.

The sample group consisted of 38 students from Mathayomsuksa 4/7 in the second semester of the 2024 academic year at Mukdahan School, Mukdahan Province, selected through cluster random sampling. The research instruments included: 1) lesson plans based on the 7-step learning cycle (7E) combined with the KWDL technique for Chemistry on the topic of solutions; 2) a scientific competency test in Chemistry on the topic of solutions; 3) a learning achievement test on the topic of solutions; and 4) a student satisfaction questionnaire on the 7-step learning cycle (7E) combined with the KWDL technique for Chemistry on the topic of solutions. The statistics used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

The results revealed that:

1. Students who received instruction through the 7-step learning cycle (7E) combined with the KWDL technique had significantly higher scientific competency after learning than before learning at the 0.05 level.

2. Students had significantly higher scientific competency after learning than the 70 percent criterion at the 0.05 level.

3. Students had significantly higher learning achievement after learning than before learning at the 0.05 level.

4. Students had significantly higher learning achievement after learning than the 70 percent criterion at the 0.05 level.

5. Students expressed the highest level of satisfaction with the 7-step learning cycle (7E) combined with the KWDL technique.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เปรียบเทียบสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง สารละลาย ระหว่างก่อนและหลังเรียน ด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL 2) เปรียบเทียบสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง สารละลาย ระหว่างหลังเรียนกับเกณฑ์ ร้อยละ 70 เมื่อเทียบกับคะแนนเต็ม ด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL 3) เปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่องสารละลาย ระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน ด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL 4) เปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง สารละลาย ระหว่างหลังเรียนกับเกณฑ์ ร้อยละ 70 เมื่อเทียบกับคะแนนเต็ม ด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL และ5) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4/7 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2567 โรงเรียนมุกดาหาร จังหวัดมุกดาหาร จำนวน 38 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้การสอนโดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL วิชาเคมี เรื่อง สารละลาย ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 2) แบบทดสอบวัดสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ วิชาเคมี เรื่อง สารละลาย 3) แบบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง สารละลาย และ4) แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจของผู้เรียนทีมีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL วิชาเคมี เรื่อง สารละลาย สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบที (t-test)

ผลวิจัยพบว่า

1. นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL เรื่อง สารละลาย มีสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ 0.05

2. นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL เรื่อง สารละลาย มีสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ หลังเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ 0.05

3. นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL เรื่อง สารละลาย มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ 0.05

4. นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL เรื่อง สารละลาย มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน หลังเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ 0.05

5. นักเรียนหลังที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7E) ร่วมกับเทคนิค KWDL เรื่อง สารละลาย มีความพึงพอใจมากที่สุด
