This project aims to propose an application of Catch Fish Optimization Algorithm Techniques (CFOA) to achieve the optimal calibration of hybrid 1+PI and PID Controller for automatic generation control of the nonlinear two-area power system model to guarantee stable frequency regulation even when faced with intricate challenges like GRC and GDB. The proposed algorithm utilizes mathematical modelling catch fish methods, allowing it to navigate the search space efficiently and avoid less advantageous local optima. The assessment of the suggested method is carried out through simulations on a two-area power systems model, incorporating 0.2 per unit load fluctuations, with ITAE serving as the performance metric. The results of study demonstrate that the hybrid controller significantly reduces overshoot, undershoot, and settling time while also maintaining stable tie-line power flow. The simulation shows the value of the ITAE just 0.0336, the controller proves to be highly effective and reliable. The proposed optimization techniques and hybrid 1+PI and PID controller highlight the suitability for complex multi-area power networks and suggest promising applications in future systems with renewable energy integration or rapidly changing loads.en
