Developing a Model to Enhance Grit on College of Dramatic Arts Students, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate elements and indicators on Grit of College of Dramatic Arts Students, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture, to develop a model to enhance Grit, and to study the effects on the model to enhance Grit treatment over the college of Dramatic Arts Students, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture. It was a kind of research and development form under 3 periods. The first was on 2 steps; 1) Investigated elements and indicators on Grit of college of dramatic arts students, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture through in-depth interview under 5 key persons. 2) Analyzed confirmed elements and indicators through 1,010 grade 10-12 of Dramatic Arts College, Bunditpattanasilpa Institute, Ministry obtained by stratified random sampling technique through a set of Grit of dramatic arts students test and analyzed the data by Confirmatory Factor Analysis : CFA. The second was on 2 steps; 1) studied ways to establish a model to enhance Grit of dramatic arts students from the documents and researches related along with the interviews under 5 key persons for the data and synthesized data as a guide line to create a model. And the in-depth interview on behaviors as well as characteristics of those students effecting low and high levels of their Grit was conducted on 20 students as a sample through purposive sampling technique. 2) Employed the data to develop a model to enhance Grit and analyzed the model by 5 experts. The third was on treating the developed model on 10 grade 10-12 student under Nakhonratchasima College of Dramatic Arts as the target group obtained through purposive sampling technique. The research tools were a model to enhance Grit, a set of Grit test, and an observation of student behaviors form. The data were analyzed by The Friedman’s Test. The research results were as followings:

1. The elements and indicators on Grit of college of dramatic arts students, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture, showed that the first was Passion with 5 indicators including love and faithfulness in related field, concentration for goal, desire, Eagerness and motivation achievement and the second was Persaverance with 4 indicators including tolerance, effort, Determination, and ability to overcome obstacles.

2. A model to enhance Grit on college of dramatic arts students, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture was under 5 steps; 1) Planning : P 2) Operating : O, 3) Whole Evaluating : W 4) Enhance Values : E, and 5) Reflecting to Understanding : R. It was assessed by the experts with the highest level of suitability.

3. The effects on the model to enhance Grit after treatment over the college of dramatic arts students, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture were found that those students after the treatment had Grit higher than before at .01 level of statistical significant difference and they had Grit not different between while treating and after treating the model. In addition, they were more likely to change behaviors in the manner of having a higher gratitude.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาองค์ประกอบและตัวบ่งชี้กริท ของนักเรียนวิทยาลัยนาฏศิลป สถาบันพัฒนศิลป์ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม พัฒนารูปแบบการเสริมสร้างกริท และศึกษาผลการใช้รูปแบบการเสริมสร้างกริทของนักเรียนวิทยาลัยนาฏศิลป สถาบันพัฒนศิลป์ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม เป็นการวิจัยและพัฒนา มี 3 ระยะดังนี้ ระยะที่ 1 มี 2 ขั้นตอน 1) ศึกษาองค์ประกอบและตัวบ่งชี้กริทของนักเรียนวิทยาลัยนาฏศิลป สถาบันพัฒนศิลป์ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม จากเอกสาร งานวิจัยและข้อมูลของผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 5 คน โดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก และ2) วิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยันที่ได้จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างคือนักเรียนชั้นมัธยม ศึกษาปีที่ 4–6 วิทยาลัยนาฏศิลป สถาบันบัณฑิตพัฒนศิลป์ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม จำนวน 1,010 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้น (Stratified Random Sampling) ที่ทำแบบวัดกริทของนักเรียนวิทยาลัยนาฏศิลป วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วย Confirmatory Factor Analysis : CFA ระยะที่ 2 มี 2 ขั้นตอนคือ 1) ศึกษารูปแบบการเสริมสร้างกริทของนักเรียนวิทยาลัยนาฏศิลปจากเอกสารและ งานวิจัยและการสัมภาษณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 5 คน แล้วนำข้อมูลสังเคราะห์ให้ได้แนวทางการสร้างรูปแบบการเสริมสร้างกริทและสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth Interview) เกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมและคุณลักษณะของนักเรียนที่ส่งผลต่อการมีกริทในระดับต่ำและระดับสูงของนักเรียนจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 20 คน ได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง 2) นำข้อมูลจากขั้นตอนที่ 1 พัฒนารูปแบบการเสริมสร้างกริทและวิเคราะห์รูปแบบโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 5 คน ระยะที่ 3 ทดลองใช้รูปแบบที่พัฒนาแล้วกับกลุ่มเป้าหมายคือนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4-6 วิทยาลัยนาฏศิลปนครราชสีมา ได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) จำนวน 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือ รูปแบบการเสริมสร้างกริท แบบวัดกริท และแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมนักเรียน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยวิธีการทดสอบของฟรีดแมน (Friedman’s Test) ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้

1. องค์ประกอบและตัวบ่งขี้กริทของนักเรียนวิทยาลัยนาฏศิลป สถาบันพัฒนศิลป์ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม ได้แก่ องค์ประกอบที่ 1 Passion มี 5 ตัวบ่งชี้คือ มีความรัก ความศรัทธาในสาขาวิชาที่เลือกเรียน มีความสามารถในการจดจ่อกับเป้าหมาย มีความปรารถนาอย่างแรงกล้า มีความกระตือรือร้นหมั่นฝึกฝนอยู่เสมอ และมีแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ และองค์ประกอบที่ 2 Persaverance มี 4 ตัวบ่งชี้คือ มีความอดทน มีความพยายาม มีความตั้งใจแน่วแน่ และมีความสามารถในการฝ่าฟันอุปสรรค

2. รูปแบบการเสริมสร้างกริทของนักเรียนวิทยาลัยนาฏศิลป สถาบันพัฒนศิลป์ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรมที่พัฒนาขึ้นมี 5 ขั้นตอนคือ 1) รับรู้และใส่ใจ (Planning : P) 2) ลงมือปฏิบัติขจัดข้อสงสัย (Operating : O 3) ประเมินก้าวไปสะท้อนย้อนกลับมา (Whole Evaluating : W 4) จัดระเบียบระบบพบค่านิยมเหมาะสมเพื่อสร้างนิสัย (Enhance Values : E และ 5) บันทึกพฤติกรรมตอกย้ำความเข้าใจ (Reflecting to Understanding : R) ได้รับการประเมินจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญมีความเหมาะสมในระดับมากที่สุด

3. ผลการใช้รูปแบบการเสริมสร้างกริทของนักเรียนวิทยาลัยนาฏศิลป สถาบันบัณฑิตพัฒนศิลป์ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม พบว่า นักเรียนมีกริทหลังการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมตามรูปแบบสูงกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมตามรูปแบบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และนักเรียนมีกริทหลังการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมตามรูปแบบและระยะติดตามผลไม่แตกต่างกัน นอกจากนี้นักเรียนมีแนวโน้มการเปลี่ยนแปลงพฤติกรรมไปในลักษณะของการมีกริทสูงขึ้น
