The Development of Methods for Evaluate Problem-Solving Skills in Grade 10 Science According to STEM Education

Abstract

The research objectives were 1) to create and find quality assessment methods and 2) to develop problem-solving skills in Grade 10 science according to STEM Education, using expert interviews were 5 people and specific examples, sourced group is students learn the curriculum by using STEM Education of 30 people (Purposive sampling) and then the data were analyzed and the results were applied to the experimental group. The research results can be summarized as follows

1. Method for assessingproblem-solving skills in learning science concepts by using STEM Educationaccording to the full study concept which has been developed, consisting of 3 methods of assessment, testing, observation and recording.Using the tool 2 types, the subjective test and the multiple choice test selections to types defined situations, how to observe is model student behavior, how to save using the tool 2 types by scoring of a trial recording and scoring of a study/research.

2. The quality of the test method, the subjective testhas validity between 0.8-1.00, the difficulty is between 0.6-0.7, the discrimination is between 0.4 to 0.5, the reliability equal .88. Multiple choice test has the validity is between 0.60 – 1.00, the difficulty between 0.40 to 0.77, the discrimination between 0.20-0.53 andreliability equal .79 were are considered quality. How to observe, the quality of the overall high level (Mean= 4.04, S.D. =0.39) and the reliability of the observations has reliability of .76, the recording quality of a recording of experiments / studies overall high level (Mean= 3.95, S.D. =0.34) were are suitable to use.

3. The result of this study is to evaluate the suitability of the overall manual at the reference level, which is a useful user manual. The results of this study can be used for guidance and other activities, respectively.

การวิจัยครั้งมีความมุ่งหมาย 1) เพื่อสร้างและหาคุณภาพวิธีการประเมินและ 2) เพื่อพัฒนาคู่มือประเมินทักษะการแก้ปัญหาในการจัดการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ตามแนวคิดสะเต็มศึกษาระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 5 คน และกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียน จำนวน 30 คน โดยวิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจงเลือก (Purposive sampling) แล้วทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลและนำผลไปทดลองกับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้

1. วิธีประเมินทักษะการแก้ปัญหาในการจัดการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ตามแนวคิดสะเต็มศึกษา ที่ได้พัฒนาขึ้น ประกอบไปด้วย 3 วิธีประเมิน คือ การทดสอบ การสังเกต และการบันทึก วิธีการทดสอบใช้เครื่องมือ 2 ชนิด คือ แบบทดสอบอัตนัยและแบบทดสอบปรนัยชนิดกำหนดสถานการณ์ วิธีการสังเกต คือแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมของนักเรียน วิธีการบันทึกใช้เครื่องมือ 2 ชนิดคือ เกณฑ์การให้คะแนนแบบบันทึกการทดลอง และเกณฑ์การให้คะแนนแบบบันทึกการศึกษา/ค้นคว้า

2. คุณภาพของวิธีการทดสอบ แบบทดสอบอัตนัย มีค่าความเที่ยงตรงอยู่ระหว่าง 0.8-1.00 มีค่าความยากอยู่ระหว่าง 0.6-0.7 อำนาจจำแนกอยู่ระหว่าง 0.4- 0.5 ค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ .88 แบบทดสอบปรนัยมีค่าความเที่ยงตรง อยู่ระหว่าง 0.60 – 1.00 มีความยากอยู่ระหว่าง 0.40 – 0.77 มีค่าอำนาจจำแนกอยู่ระหว่าง 0.20-0.53 และมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.79 ซึ่งถือว่ามีคุณภาพ วิธีการสังเกต มีคุณภาพของแบบสังเกตโดยภาพรวมระดับมาก (ค่าเฉลี่ย= 4.04, ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน =0.39) และความเชื่อมั่นของแบบสังเกต มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ .76 และวิธีการบันทึกมีคุณภาพของแบบบันทึกผลการทดลอง/ศึกษาค้นคว้าโดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 3.95, ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน =0.34) ซึ่งถือว่ามีความเหมาะสมนำไปใช้ได้

3. ผลการประเมินความเหมาะสมของคู่มือโดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับอ้างอิงที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้ใช้คู่มือสามารถนำรูปแบบการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการจัดทำคู่มือและกิจกรรมอื่นได้ตามลำดับ
