The Development of Problem-Solving Ability in Physics by Using Inquiry-based Learning corporated with STAR Instructional Strategies for Mathayomsuksa 5 Students

Abstract

The action research aim to development of problem-solving ability in physics of Mathayomsuksa 5 students by using inquiry-based learning corporated with STAR instructional strategies in order to pass the criterion of 70 percent of full score. The target group was 29 students of Mathayomsuksa 5 /5 students in academic year 2019 at Sarakhampittayakhom School, Muang, Mahasarakham. The research instruments were :1) nine lesson plans 13 hours, 2) The Physics problem-solving ability tests 3) students' interview and 4) observation from of problem-solving ability in physics. The data was analyzed by using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research methodology is classroom action research which consist of three cycles. The results of research found that the number of students that had mean score of problem-solving ability in physics passed the criterion of 70 percent full score in the first, the second, and the third had 13 students (44.83 %), 24 students (82.76%) and 27 students (93.10%) respectively.

การวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียนครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาฟิสิกส์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โดยใช้กระบวนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับกลวิธี STAR ให้ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม กลุ่มเป้าหมาย ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5/5 ของโรงเรียนสารคามพิทยาคม อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดมหาสารคาม ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2562 จำนวน 29 คน โดยเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวมรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับกลวิธี STAR จำนวน 9 แผน 13 ชั่วโมง 2) แบบทดสอบความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาฟิสิกส์ 3) แบบสัมภาษณ์นักเรียน 4) แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาฟิสิกส์ของนักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน โดยรูปแบบการวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการโดยแบ่งเป็น 3 วงจรปฏิบัติการ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักเรียนมีคะแนนความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาฟิสิกส์หลังจากการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับกลวิธี STAR ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม ในวงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 1 มีจำนวน 13 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 44.83 วงจรปฏิบัติที่ 2 มีจำนวน 24 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 82.76 และวงจรปฏิบัติที่ 3 มีจำนวน 27 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 93.10
