dc.description.abstract | China's national culture is splendid, and the mutual collision and integration of multi-cultures are everywhere. As a result of the war, a long migration began. One of the Miao people went to Guangxi and Hunan; one went to Guizhou and Yunnan; the other stayed in the border area of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou. For thousands of years, Miao culture and regional culture have combined to form a unique culture. Education is an important means of cultural heritage. In history, family education and social education have played an important role in carrying forward the Miao culture. Since modern times, school education has gradually become the main means for Miao people to integrate into the mainstream society and promote economic development. It faced a series of difficulties of loss of traditional culture under the impact of the times. In the 21st century, under the guideline of modern multi-education, the education of Miao nationality has not only become an organic part of education, but indeed plays an important role in the local and national culture inheritance. The social education of Miao nationality aims in inheriting advanced culture and national culture, and also for innovating and developing. Guided by the theory of educational history, this paper uses the methods of literature analysis, interview, integrated research and case study to collect and sort out the first-hand materials about the current situation of Miao's education provided by the teachers of local ethnic schools and regions. This paper also systematically combs and explores the education of Miao nationality from ancient times to the present. Under the background of discussing Miao's unique culture, this paper tries to elaborate and analyze the historical development process and characteristics of Miao's education through the field survey of representative Miao schools, combing its development process, revealing its educational characteristics, summing up the existing problems of Miao education and put forward countermeasures. On the basis of the historical development process of Miao education and highlighting national characteristics, we should promote the overall development of Miao education and jointly develop it into a characteristic and a high-quality modern education. | en |
