The Spirit of Isaan Ceremony

Abstract

This visual arts creation thesis, “The spirit of Isaan ceremony ” consisted of purposes which were to study about the method of treatment according to Isan’s belief. Struggling for escaping from all affliction in traditional Isan’s belief that occulted some meaning in the posture of dancing, atmosphere, music and became a pattern to perform Mor Lam and Phi Fa rituals. The information that was collected to create this artwork included Mor Lam and Phi Fa rituals that were recorded from real events, videos on the internet and got technical influences from artworks of modern times artists that were related. The artworks displayed in the form of performance combined with multimedia conveyed the story of the ritual which was inspired by atmosphere during the ritual, movement of dancing postures, music, lighting, shadows and costumes. The data analysis was clearly analyzed in order to theme, form, technique, and process through visual element and visual principle to satisfy of concept and created as 4 pieces of special character artworks.

The result of this creation was found “The spirit of Isaan ceremony” illustrated the process of creating a thesis and develop the presentation formation which had the characteristics of telling the story in each work and found a new perspective on the works in response to the concept of further creation.

วิทยานิพนธ์การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานทัศนศิลป์เรื่อง จิตวิญญาณแห่งพิธีกรรมอิสาน มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษา เรื่องราวที่เกี่ยวกับพิธีกรรมการบำบัดรักษาความเจ็บป่วยตามความเชื่อของคนอิสาน การดิ้นรนแสวงหาแนวทางในการที่จะหลุดพ้นจากความทุกข์ทั้งปวงใน ความเชื่อดั้งเดิมที่แฝงความหมาย และก่อเกิดเป็นแบบแผนการประกอบพิธีกรรมผีฟ้าหมอลำทรง ในการสร้างสรรค์ครั้งนี้รวบรวมข้อมูลจากสภาพแวดล้อม ได้แก่การประกอบพิธีกรรมหมอลำทรง รำผีฟ้าที่ถูกบันทึกไว้จากการประกอบพิธีกรรมจริง ในสื่อวีดีทัศน์ตามแหล่งค้นคว้าข้อมูลทางอินเตอร์เน็ตข้อมูลจากเอกสารเกี่ยวกับและอิทธิพลจากผลงานศิลปกรรมของรูปแบบการสร้างสรรค์และการจัดวางองค์ประกอบของผลงานศิลปินในยุคปัจจุบันที่มีลักษณะผลงานเป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกันโดย ผลงานสร้างสรรค์ได้แสดงออกในลักษณะของ ศิลปะการแสดงสด (Performance) ผสมกับสื่อมัลติมีเดีย (Multimedia) แสดงออกผ่านรูปทรง แสดงออกเรื่องราวของการประกอบพิธีกรรมอันได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากบรรยากาศขณะประกอบพิธีกรรม นำมาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเพื่อหาความชัดเจนของแนวเรื่อง รูปทรงสัญลักษณ์ และวัสดุกลวิธีและหลักการทางทัศนศิลป์ เพื่อตอบสนองแนวความคิด เป็นผลงานที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะตน จำนวน 4 ชุด

ผลการสร้างสรรค์พบว่าวิทยานิพนธ์ชุด จิตวิญญาณแห่งพิธีกรรมอิสาน ทำให้ผู้สร้างสรรค์สามารถเข้าใจถึงกระบวนการในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานวิทยานิพนธ์และพัฒนารูปแบบที่เลือกนำเสนอเรื่องราวของ จิตวิญญาณแห่งพิธีกรรมอีสาน ซึ่งมีลักษณะเป็นการบอกเล่าเรื่องราวในตัวผลงานแต่ละขึ้นและหามุมมองในใหม่ให้ผลงานที่สร้างสรรค์มีความเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวสามารถพัฒนาผลงานสร้างสรรค์ในช่วงวิทยานิพนธ์และต้องศึกษาในเรื่องของรูปแบบ การจัดองค์ประกอบมุมมองและเรื่องราวที่ผู้สร้างสรรค์ จะนำเอาแง่มุมใดมานำเสนอ เพื่อตอบสนองต่อแนวความคิดของการสร้างสรรค์ต่อไป
