Development of Mathematical Problem Solving Ability and Learning Achievement in Logarithm Function of Mathayomsuksa Four Students by Organizing Learning Activities based on DAPIC

Abstract

This research is the action research. The proposes of this study were 1) to develop the mathematical problem solving ability of Mathayomsuksa 4 students by organizing learning activities based on DAPIC to achieve the criteria 70 percent, and 2) to study the students’ learning achievement. The target group is 24 students of Mathayomsuksa 4 students in the academic year 2019 from Sarakhampittayakhom School, Muang, Mahasarakham. They were selected by using the purposive sampling of 1 classroom. The research instruments were : 1) 9 lesson plans of the organizing learning activities based on DAPIC, 2) There are 3 sets of the mathematical problem solving ability test, and 3) Learning achievement in logarithm function test. The statistical techniques are applied to analyses the data such as mean, percentage and standard deviation.

The results were as follows :

1) the mathematical problem solving ability of Mathayomsuksa 4 students by organizing learning activities based on DAPIC. The average for the first, second, third groups are 70.56, 70.00, 86.81 percent, respectively. Especially, for the third group, each of student’s score is higher than 70 percent. Moreover, the mathematical skills have improved for every group.

2) The students’ learning achievement after organizing learning activities based on DAPIC, students have an average of 11.13 from full score of 15 and a standard deviation of 1.94, representing 70 percent, which is in good level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียนมีความมุ่งหมาย 1) เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ สำหรับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังการใช้การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิด DAPIC ให้ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ สำหรับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังการใช้การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิด DAPIC โดยกลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้จากนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4/9 โรงเรียนสารคามพิทยาคม อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดมหาสารคาม ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2562 จำนวน 24 คน ซึ่งได้มาจากการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิด DAPIC จำนวน 9 แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ จำนวน 3 ชุด และ 3) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ จำนวน 15 ข้อ รูปแบบการวิจัย คือ การวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ (Action Research) ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 3 วงจรปฏิบัติการ ได้แก่ วงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 1 ใช้แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ 1 - 3 วงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 2 ใช้แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ 4 - 6 และวงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 3 ใช้แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ 7 - 9 ซึ่งสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้

ความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง ฟังก์ชันลอการิทึม ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังการได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิด DAPIC ในวงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 1 นักเรียนมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 22.42 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70.56 ของคะแนนเต็ม มีนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ ร้อยละ 70 จำนวน 17 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70.83 ของนักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมาย วงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 2 นักเรียนมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 21.00 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70.00 ของคะแนนเต็ม มีนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ ร้อยละ 70 จำนวน 17 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70.83 ของนักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมาย และวงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 3 นักเรียนมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 26.04 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 86.81 ของคะแนนเต็ม ซึ่งในวงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 3 มีนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 จำนวน 22 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 91.67 ของนักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมาย และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง ฟังก์ชันลอการิทึม ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังการได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิด DAPIC พบว่า นักเรียนมีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 11.13 จากคะแนนเต็ม 15 คะแนน และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 1.94 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 74.17 ซึ่งอยู่ในระดับการประเมินดี
